I still don't get why you don't want Quick to go.

Wow, he's got to be humiliated. This almost means as much to russians as canadians.

Especially when Viktor Kozlov makes it over him.

That makes 2 of us. I want Quick on an international stage and shining. With goalies, so much is between the ears and to be on that platform and to perform will only accelerate his growth.

Not a surprise considering pros from the Russian leagues were invited.

Wait a sec, I just saw a list that has him included.

Stay tuned.

edit: May be an old list but still checking.

edit II: Yup, looks like an old list.

He won't even be playing, so the argument that we want him to rest just doesn't cut it with me. He's going to be practicing either way; why not have him practice in the spotlight? It would be a great experience for him.

Frolov is not known for his positional versatility or defensive ability.
Russians have lots of dynamic LWs. I think it came down to Frolov vs Radulov and they went with the latter, perhaps, because he's playing in Russia nowadays.

I disagree about the defensive ability. He's always been regarded as a great two-way forward.

Poor Fro.

Ah well, he may as well rage and pot a few hattricks after Christmas or something.

He isn't? He should be. He's a perfect example.

Meh. I see value there, though this may impact his trade value a little, it proves to Frolov that his play is not just a coach thing or a disagreement of philosophies. His own countrymen are calling him out. He can't blame it on anyone really other than himself.
