Two-way forward is what I would use.... those options are tough.
I put him in the same category as Zetterberg, Datsyuk, M.Koivu, Kesler etc. I guess you could call Datsyuk a dangler or a playmaker, Zetterberg a scorer or a playmaker, Kesler a grinder, but I see them all as being in a different category for some reason.
Yeah I liked two way forward as well. Look, I love Richards, but calling him Bobby Clarke like they do in Philly is over the top. Richards will be a Selke threat for years and if the Flyers ever do something he'll be at the centerfold but that's putting him on too high of a pedestal labelling him as Clarke
Is this by any chance linked to NHL 10? Or any NHL game for that matter?
Personally, I would put him at grinder out of those but really hes doesn't conclusively fit into any of those. He has been over a PPG over the last 2 seasons. Thats not really grindy. He has scored 30 goals, which isnt really a sniper and he put up 50 assists, so thats not really a playmaker. And he sure doesn't dangle or do much of the Power forward thing.
If anything, he is a combination of playmaker, grinder and sniper. A play grinding sniper.
