Regardless, im not willing to give up 2 points so Johnson gets his NHL game. MAybe after the olympic break...
So it's a lock that he is going to lose when he plays?? Have you ever seen him play before. Every single level he plays at, he adjusts to it great. Give your head a shake and maybe watch some of him or don't say things like that, there is no guarentee it's a loss....

It's not as terrible as before, the number of quality scoring chances allowed have thankfully declined, but not the shot count. We implode for a period each game and Hank has saved us every time now for about 10 games. I'm not sure it's such a good idea to throw Johnson into the furnace just yet.

But I agree with sitting Johnson on the bench isn't a good situation either, he needs to play, even if just being the backup in NHL for a stretch might be educational, as long as that stretch isn't too long. Waiving Valiquette was a terrible idea, it was not his fault the team was in total meltdown mode in front of him.

Sure, Valiquette struggled, but so did Hank. Any goalie would've had a hard time keeping their composture in front of the kindergarden we witnessed. Blaming the struggles we've had on the goalies is ridiculous.

Hank is playing great now, because the team is performing at least well enough defensively so that he feels he can do his job.

Ya but you have seen him struggling in the minors too right?? 5 goals against in both his first two games and got pulled. Not an NHL calibre goalie that's the bottom line.

wow last night I had a dream that I was listening to the radio and heard that Wade Redden got waived and was sent to Hartford. Weirdest thing ever.

I'm not making this up either.

Totally agree...I'm sitting home studying PA mortgage law, and all I can think about is right now I would be pre-gaming at 31 or Stout with a Pint in hand heckling Islanders fans!

My friend who knows nothing about hockey is going to be here because his uncle works for Meryl Lynch and gets 4 free tickets to each game.

I'm envious to the tenth power right now.

2 points are needed and no reason to start slow. They must take it to the sticks from the drop of the puck.

Sabres are blacking out the game tonight, joy. They are showing the Best Damn Sports Show Period on MSG+, good allocation of resources by Time Warner.
