Then he said Homer came into the lockerrom be4 the game on the 23rd and told them no one new was coming and no one was getting traded, so its up to them to turn it around.
Interesting

I'm actually happy to hear that. Hartnell comes across as a pretty straightforward guy and I can't see this is being a lie or anything. I'm also happy to hear it because, even with this slump, I really do like this team and would much rather see this group turn things around than shake things up.

That and I just got a Giroux jersey and I don't want to think about him going anywhere..lol

I got the orange jersey, but I am waiting to get Giroux on the back

It was cool to here a player talk so openly, including taking blame for being lazy. As Harts said, get some momentum going into teh Winter Classic, and carry it on.

Then Homer showed them a video clip of when he picked Mike Bullard off the ground by his throat...oh, that was then.

Just saw the highlights on On The Fly. On Briere's goal, Pronger comes up to celebrate with everyone, and I swear he is exactly twice as tall as Danny.

"Chock full roster" makes it sound like you're blaming Holmgren. Is that what you're doing?

That's not exactly what I heard, but I really liked the interview. Harts planked it down for everyone and took responsibility. I'm sure he wouldn't have done that if Homer hadn't said everyone's job was safe, but he did. It was a nice thing to hear. Almost Christmassy.

Pretty much my sentiments exactly. Considering how they won this game, I am not going to get too excited unless they win tomorrow in solid fashion, or maybe even get 4 in a row ().

No one's saying it but the Canes looked like they did the year they won the cup. They blasted up wings and intimidated with their speed and passing.

He should show them the clip of him punching Andy Van Hellemond (I think that was his name).

They looked good, but not like they did when they won the cup. They looked extremely unlucky on a few plays. Kinda like we've looked for the last month or so (only they at least looked like a team... not that the Flyers didn't look like a team tonight, they just haven't for a while... I digress). The Flyers out played the Canes for some good stretches tonight. That 3rd was definitely ugly though.

Interesting what happens when you win games. They'd be back to 2 points out of a playoff spot.

Yeah, they have gone through a lonnnnnnnnnng stretch where the other team got every bounce and the Flyers' best couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a two-by-four.

Last night it was Carter, Gagne, Richards, Timonen and still an empty basket. Those are supposed to be marquee players (they were lock Olympians when Stevens was mis-coaching them).
