Gonna be a harder game than most think. Lets get this win.

Eagles win and Flyers win would make my day awesome.

Here's from free advice Flyers, don't let that Tavares kid roam around freely again.

All in for the Islanders, Flyers are now 3-0 when I bet against them

From today's pregame write up by John McGourty - NHL.com Staff Writer

Quote:
Puck drop -- Undisciplined play got John Stevens fired as Flyers coach earlier this month. The Flyers lead the NHL by averaging 17.8 penalty minutes per game. They just got their first two-game winning streak in 12 games for Laviolette and they took only 10 minutes in penalties in each of those games.
They didn't put together a full 60 minute game to get either of these last two wins, but they stayed out of the box and still won. Once they can do both, they should be back to looking like contenders. Maybe today, will be the day.

I am in complete agreement about Jeanerette's voice. Whenever they air the Sabres highlights I hit mute as fast as I can on the remote.

As for that commercial, it truly is annoying after the millionth time. Unfortunately they need to air something given that nobody is willing to pay advertising dollars on the NHL Network.

It's 1-for-1 so far, so you bet my Flyers snuggie will be ready to go for tonight!

I will be swapping between the Flyers and Eagles though, mainly the Flyers unless things go crazy for either side.

If there are 3 teams in the league we can get a win streak against (and almost throw it away) it's Tampa, Carolina and NYI.

If I saw a guy your size wearing one I'd think to myself, "When he moved into town, he had to knock on a few doors."

Hopefully Biron is in the net for the NYI.

There is no reason we should lose this one. I can not stress enough, discipline hockey and hard work. Teams like Florida, Tampa, Canes and NYI must be destroyed with or with out confidence.

The NYI aren't a lazy team. It actually amazes me that we've owned them so thoroughly when they really aren't all that easy a team to play against.

Never called them lazy. No. Absolutely not. But they have zero D and if Biron is in the net (looks like he is because Rolly played yesterday) we must win. Tavares is good but he is no Crosby or Malkin.

Godawful starting time tonight though. Not late enough to warrant going to sleep before and getting back, but late enough to have to stay up half the night for it :/

Well, I got some time to kill and I'll probably watch an anime movie since I don't think my national junior team is going to stand up to the Swedes. They are already down 1-0 less than three minutes into the game. At least they got a Power Play right now.

Damn, just realized that the only sub I have for the anime movie I wanted to watch was in greek :/
Anyways, the Austrians aren't doing that badly. Still only down one and just showed some nice passing on the PP. Too bad the only stream there is is in swedish.

I only just realized that I could also watch football, but with the Scheduling being ****** and the Eagles starting only about an hour before the Flyers there isn't much to watch as my other team, the Bucs, are of course getting murdered by New Orleans. Also, it's halftime everywhere right now :/

Just because. Mostly I can probably pin it on Warren Sapp. Not living in the country doesn't bind me to any allegiances. But I guess you guys are still pissed about 2002 :/
