Value of: Todd White

he's been playing terribly all year. i wouldn't have a problem with the lack of production if he was still playing well defensively but he's been lacking in the department too(worst +/- on the team by about 6 or 7 last time i checked) yet our coach continues to give him special teams time even though he continues to be a sieve defensively and fan on every chance he gets offensively. we could also use the cap space his salary would give us coming off the books to help re-sign kubina.

who desperately needs a third line center and has cap space to spare for the next year and a half that would be willing to give up a LATE round pick for the guy?

If I were the Sens I would trade for him, but only if the thrash took Cheechoo in return. Maybe trading these guys for each other would work out well for both teams.

only problem i have with that is we already have 3 top six RW's(little afinogenov, armstrong). i guess we could move peverley back to the third line again and move little back to center but then peverley wouldn't be getting enough ice time again

probably not much. he just doesn't have much value to the thrashers anymore since he isn't scoring like a top 6 center anymore. thrashers only have one non-scoring line and reasoner has all kinds of dibs on that center spot. if we can move lehtonen and white it opens up room for re-signing kubina without hamstringing the ability to re-sign the young players so i'd really trade him for anything as long as it has a cap hit of under a million and isn't a defenseman

im not 100% on the Cap, but Demitra is still out. along with M Schnieder not around.

what's todd's cap hit? We can offer some decent prospects for him, and players who can play this year but aren't good enough to crack van's roster. He'd be pretty good for Van's third line.

2.375 w/ another year n his deal after this one. I'd be more than willing to ship out White. He is really the odd man out on the Thrashers this year; he just doesn't seem to fit the team profile.

Might be the non seller on this deal.
Considering the Nucks Cap for next year, and lil cap space this year.
Unless Atl is taking more of our salary back, it most likely wont work.

Im sure your not interested in the Multiple of Hordichuk Wellwood M Schnieder or SOB it would take to make it work with vancouver.
