Players can't be traded until midnight tonight. Though I guess Smith/Niitty could be sitting tonight to keep them healthy to be traded tomorrow.

There's your explanation.

Further: Halpern, Fedoruk, Walker out on injured reserve. Training lines:

Tanguay - Lecavalier - Downie
Malone - Stamkos - St. Louis
Jones - Szcz - Veilleux
Wright - Konopka - Hale

Doubtful. Besides, i'm sure management would love to let Tokarski beat some ass in Norfolk.

Also: Halpern, Fedoruk, Walker all placed on IR. **** me.

interesting that they would take Hale and put him on the 4th line and recall lundin instead of just calling up a forward

i don't get it either. tocchet seems to prefer playing with 7 D if one of the main 6 D is out.

Thats a great question. I wonder if they can get Janus on loan from Erie.

I'm okay with Hale at forward, as Lundin has better puck moving abilities.

They signed Shane Connelly (played for Wisconsin) to a PTO: http://www.oursportscentral.com/serv...es/?id=3944648

The reason I was trying to figure out what was going on is because they asked me to come out and practice with them last night and I wasn't sure if I needed to pack a bag for Hershey. Also, I'm pretty sure Riku got the call over Tokarski because he was in town and Tokarski was back home. Here's some pictures from practice in case anyone cares:

ps. Tokarski is a pretty amazing goalie and was first on, last off the ice (by a wide margin). Pretty sure he'll be a starter some day.
