How many prospects would you give up to win a cup?

What is the most amount of prospects you would give up to win a cup?

If you don't understand, I mean. Would you give up your team's top 5 prospects if it meant you won the cup, your team's top 10, top 20, etc. If you think giving up more than your team's top 5 is too much, then you'd vote 5.

"All prospects and picks for the next draft"

Didn't have to think twice. I'll give the picks from the next year too if you'd like.

All of the current prospects and picks for the next 10 years.

Only on HF would this even be a question.

No question, I would give up everything for a cup. I'd like to hear some reasoning on why somebody wouldn't do this from people voting only prospects, or that 1 guy who voted only 5 prospects. IMO there is no logical reason.

I would give everything up to see the Leafs win a Stanley cup in my life time. One day, I just want to hold this sign at a Leaf game:

I don't care if I ice a team of 40 year olds thats bounded for retirement next year, if they guarantee a cup, go for it.

I would give up all of my team's prospects and draft picks for a team of rental UFAs if that team can guarantee a cup win.

You give up anything and everything for the cup. There is only a problem when you give up a lot and don't win.

curioos the people who didn't say "all prospects and picks" logic was...

I dunno...

The cup is worth everything.. I mean, ask teams like Buffalo, or Vancouver who have won nothing at all

The franchise is pretty much the only thing I wouldn't give up.
