Come on guys/gals.

Fog-Devils.

That is so cute. I'm sure my 12 year old daughter would love it.

What was an artist supposed to do with a team named the Fog? .. or Voodoo.. RADZ??

Macon Whoopee is no better.. geez

Columbus Blue Jackets sounds horrible.. I mean who wants to play for a team named for outer apparel?

:lol ...all those logos are HORRIBLE. Vancouver Voodoo? Macon Whoopee? Nashville South Stars? What were these people thinking? I guess they didn't want anyone to buy their jerseys.

They're not named after outer apparel. They're named after the Union soldiers of the Civil War. Same type of idea as the British being referred to as the Redcoats. During the revolutionary years, that is.

Tsk Tsk Dale. You are either showing your IQ or age. Which means you will feel out of place for the most part here

Haha.

I take American history, what can I say .

"The name Blue Jackets recognizes the contributions by Ohio and the city of Columbus to the Union Army during the Civil War. The state of Ohio made the largest contribution of its population to the Union Army than any other state in the union. The Blue Coats of the Union Army were manufactured in Columbus." - from some website which I can't remember because I closed the browser.

Don't forget the team based out of Macon Georgia that were called the Macon Whoopee.

Also, there's the Grenville Groooooowl

I was aware of this as I have taken American History myself. I was referring to what one may think upon hearing the name and not what it actually meant. Upon first hearing the name "Blue Jacket", I apologize that the American civil war did not come to mind
