Nice to see the Nashville trolls come out of the woodwork for this one.

Absolute warrior. Only way to describe him.

Todd Fedoruk is another guy who has had some work done on his face: Facial injuries force Tampa Bay Lightning tough guy Todd Fedoruk to reinvent his game - St. Petersburg Times

Interesting picture in the article.

Did his opinion irk you so much that you had to try and make a witty response in order to suppress it?

Christ, people, just because people don't follow the thread in a straight conversational path does not make their post illegitimate.

On that not, I can't remember the last time this guy wasn't wearing some sort of additional facial protection.

So i guess any player who feels like they may get into a fight should just sucker punch the opposing player and call it a day?.....

Is there anybody playing for Dallas that isn't best at everything they do in your opinion? It was not that long ago you told that me Brad Richards was and is a better player than Kopitar!

Haha look what I started. Tootoo should've dropped the gloves, but he didn't. He served a suspension. Modano shouldn't have swung his stick over his head to hit Tootoo in the back, but he did. He didn't serve a suspension (I wonder why... great consistency, NHL). Robidas had no reason to charge after Tootoo, but he did. He got knocked out cold, missed some games, and took a penalty to top it off.

Anyway, after the reaction of the Dallas organization it's no wonder people still love the fact that at least Toots laid the guy out. Warrior or not, he was owned.

Not to start a big argument here, but that argument isn't that far off base. Statistically speaking, Kopitar has 39 points in 39 games, whereas Richards has 44 in 37.

Again, not saying Richards is better than Kopitar, but if someone were to make such a claim, I could see evidence for it.

You make absoultely not sence! How is Robidas getting sucker punched or him having surgery on his face turn into "Is there anybody playing for Dallas that isn't best at everything they do in your opinion".

YOU are not allowed to bring up the Conn Smythe when comparing players.

Tough player no doubt. Always thought he was underrated and has only recently gotten some league-wide recognition (in terms of fanbases other than Dallas and their rivals).

Robidas is a JOKE!

I fondly remember him skating into Tootoo's glove at full speed after Modano repeatedly butchered poor Jordin with his twig. Modano's star treatment gets him no penalty, suspension, or fine whatsoever.

What I don't understand is how anyone believes it was not justified? I mean, I would have held up my arm and allowed Robidas to come crashing into my fist as well (for protection)...

So, Robidas' face "caving in" was bound to happen sooner or later. hahaha

Let me get this straight?

Robidas does nothing wrong.

Ribiero is not diver.

Ott is not a goon.

I wonder how many non-homer Dallas fans would agree with those statements?

Please stay on topic. This post is about Robidas' face and how he plays dirty.

The topic of this post is "Robidas has his face "Caved in" from a puck in the face he took in practice not the Tootoo incident. Only after the Pred trolls brought up the punch did this go off track. So you are basically feeding you fellow pred trolls by not staying on topic.

Alright, enough about Tootoo's cheap sucker punch, BACK ON TOPIC.....Robi wasn't named to the Olympic team, but I'm still very happy to have his toughness on the Stars.

He's 3 back of Clutterbuck for the league lead in hits, and tied for the league lead in goals by a d-man. Proof that wearing a full cage doesn't suppress talent at an NHL level.
