Injury Replacements for each position

CANADA
Forwards: Jeff Carter / Martin St. Louis (?)
Defenseman: Jay Bouwmeester
Goaltender: Cam Ward

According to Pierre, Bouwmeester vs. Doughty discussion went upto this morning. Bob McKenzie thinks that it was between Carter and Richards for the last spot.

I don't agree with Pierre on much but I'll go with his choice. Carter and Richards are two different types of players.

I would hope that St-Louis is on the short-list of replacements as he deserved to be on the roster in the first place.

Well it really depends on who gets injured. So here goes based on the injury.

Top 6 forward -- Martin St Louis, Vincent Lecaviller
Bottom 6 forward -- Brad Richards, Ryan Smyth

Offensive Defenseman -- Robidas
Deffensive Defenseman -- Jay Bouwmeester

Goalie -- Chris Mason

Question, does Hockey Canada have to submit a list of possible players to the IIHF or can they just pick whoever they want as injury replacements up until and including the Olympics?

I would think Green would be moer suitable for the offensive defenseman role and Doan over Smyth in the bottom 6. Cam ward is easily the 4th goalie.

They have already submitted a list this summer.
