Ice Dogs game 12/29

Went to the Ice Dogs game last night(Wednesday). First of all it was fun to watch, good to see hockey live again. Urquhart looked great, he looks like he needs to put on some muscle, though. Shasby looked very natural out there for such a young guy. One thing I noticed is that Shasby looked like he plays very clean yet about 3 guys on Idaho were trying to kill him. Especially Lance Galbraith-that guy is quite an ass. Was hoping Lindsay was going to play but he didn't. Evan Cheverie also looked good.

Ice Dogs and Shots on Goal!

I have watched or listened to every game so far this season,so I have a pretty good feel for the team.
My question is...why are the opposing teams being allowed an average of 36-38 shots per game on Madden and Michaud?
On Madden's return after 4 weeks off with injury, he faced 52 shots that night!
He managed to make 50 saves and they won the game (outshot 52-24)
Great way to protect your goalie! Hope they don't fall over from exhaustion?
It seems our forwards (thank God for Kenady) and Madden (Michaud has been great his last 4 games) are winning the games, but the defense is terrible.
Just imagine if it all came together! They could go number one!

they (the Ice Dogs) seemed to allow a TON of shots from the point. Idaho's defensemen were able to pull off many many shots and rebounds, at least thats how this game went
