Hopefully ak46 is back soon. Good to see Lapierre go after Ballard after that low hit on AK. He almost won that fight, I'd give him the draw.

Markov with 3 assists, the guy just puts up points like nothing.

Congrats to O'byrne as well, first point of the year for him.

* Halak didn't play great, but he did play great in the final 10 minutes.

* Markov was phenomenal.

* Hamrlik was solid.

* Gorges picked it up after a horrid 1st.

* Gomez played well.

* Pouliot is fantastic.

* Bergeron with another goal.

* Plekanec is the best player in the world.

* Gionta was good.

* D'Agostini had some good shifts and poor ones.

* Lapierre was solid.

* Gill scored.

* Cammalleri was good.

* Pacioretty was great for playing on short notice.

* Spacek was decent.

* O'byrne was unnoticable. Good for him.

* Metropolit was solid.

* Moen was solid.

* Kostitsyns: hopefully neither are hurt long, I don't wanna see Laraque!

Epic road trip. Very impressed with Pacioretty this game. Came up big time after AK was injured. Also, Pouliot/Gomez/Gionta- I love this line. Halak was outstanding in the final minutes.

What an effort!

6-1 road trip. Amazing.

Fun wide open game. Markov is amazing. Pouliot just looks like a natural! Gomez and Gionta with 2 helpers. MAB with a key goal. Pleks and Cammy scoring big goals. Gill pulls a rocket out of his butt. Good effort by Max Pac after jumping up to replace Kostitsyn.

Now it's time to start playing at a high level at home.

So this is what it's like to have 2 scoring lines? Gomez haters have been rather quiet as of late. So have the Gill haters.

Halak looked shaky to start, but his performance improved most when we needed it. The third.

Next stop, Buffalo on Sunday. Lets hope our success on the road trip will help us defeat Buffalo.

Great, great roadtrip. I was hoping for a result like this certainly, but wasn't expecting it by any means.

Great to see Gomer turn his season around in the last 7-8 games. Markov being back is huge... followed closely by the return of Gio to give us two offensive lines. Pouliot complimenting Gomer and Gio is huge too.

What more can be said about Plek that hasn't been said? Cammy didn't have the best trip but still produced and AK was awesome (hope he's alright).

Halak was brilliant for four games and Price stepped up when he was given the chance. We need to stop whining about the goalies.

And on that note, happy new year's everyone!

It was an awesome game. Loved Cammalleri's goal with a knee on the ice.

Halak was shaky all night but he came up big when we needed him, great to see.

Lapierre is starting to play very well for us, didn't even look that bad fighting Ballard.

I think that getting Markov, Hamrlik, and Gionta back has been huge for us. I know someone mentioned before that they find Hamrlik has cooled off, but I thought he's been really good these last two games.

With Markov-Gorges, and Spacek-Hamrlik, we have two pretty good defense pairings, along with Gill-O'Byrne we have a nice couple of heavy bodies to lean in on the other teams players when needed, and to rub out the players in front of the net.

Don't look now, but we haven't been outshot in the last 3 games AND had more PPs than the opponent in the last 2.

I will step up to the plate and say that I was a doubter... but eating crow is not that bad if you have enough wine and the Habs are winning

A lot of fun to watch even with a lot of heart stopping action in the third especially that last PK.

Halak was there for us in the end.

Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta are as good as Cammy-Pleks-AK and are as much to fun to watch. Gomez has been awesome this month.

A great, great road trip.

6-1-0. That is unbelievably amazing!
