Why doesn't Tortorella try Anisimov on the PP?

We need to get Kotalik off the point like I need to lose 10 pounds. This guy does so much more harm than good there. If you want to keep him on the boards and run an umbrella to get his shot involved, fine. But he makes so many horrible decisions, both very noticeable and a little more subtle (like trying to shoot that bouncing puck on net rather than just keeping it in and setting up).

Only Higgins can miss the net from 3 feet out.

LoFFen, you really should make a video of Higgins wiffing it ALL SEASON LONG, just out of frustration.

Might come in handy for contract negotiations too you know

I yell at Higgins more than I used to yell at Zherdev. That is an impressive accomplishment.

No offense to Canes, but man they're awful. Lots of chances for our boys, but you won't score if you shoot wide, it's as simple as that... Frustrating period, Rangers should be up 2-0. Hit the net boys.

After the first period, I think that the Rangers is really willing to work hard and bring it hard to the Canes. If Higgins wasn't such a talentless goon, it would be about 2:0 Rangers....

They did hit the crossbar and nearly score, you remember that right?

I'm very surprised their powerplay is this awful. It looked really good against Washington two games ago

Good period, Staal was the best player out there, but Drury and Dubinsky played very well also.

Higgins should definitely cut the mullet, it's bad luck.

Also, great play by Kotalik trying to take a slapshot with the bouncing puck on the powerplay. He is so valuable at the point.

I do, but it was more of a bad play by the Rangers, besides I was thinking more about their defense, some awful plays from Ward and Alberts, Gaborik breakaway, many chances while shorthanded. They look very suspicious, better team would probably capitalize on those chances.

Higgins...

I've never see a guy get so many chances and just miss them.

Its really getting ridiculous at this point.
