I was at the game watching Kopitar for a good chunk of it. There is no doubt (IMO) that he is playing hurt. He seemed to be favoring his left side at times, and he's been a step or two slow for a few weeks now. Someone suggested he was hurt when he went awkwardly in to the boards during a game early last month. Who knows, but he is not anywhere near 100%

Get well SOON!

Yup, at 11pm. Glad they are too, forgot to record it to pull for my videos. Need this game for any Quick highlight video with its salt.

That was me. It's obvious he's hurt.

Brad Richardson's first year and 2 months with the Kings were pretty awful, I mean he didn't have a goal in his Kings career for a long damn time. Now that being said once he's been able to be healthy and get off that fourth line he's shown how valuable he is.

It seems like Parse and Simmonds work so well together that no matter who you put with them they create a solid forechecking line. The game winning goal today was really all because of him, if he doesn't check Ovie in the corner and cause the confusion with Mike Green we wouldn't have gotten that 2nd goal.

I swear, I haven't watched the last two games (went to the beach) and they win. Should I continue to not watch?

I want to start a Scott Parse appreciation thread.....who would have thought that kid would (ever) come in here and make an impact? He's turned out to be really solid in his role.

With all the Ovechkin plugs lately I forgot we were the home team. Nice to see us beat the Caps.

I'm pretty sure you would score tonns of goals with Ivnanas and Harrold as Winger and 2 minutes icetime

... I think Parse has benefited from being in a role with little to no scoring expectations. Murray's done a great job with him, likely telling him just to go out there and have solid shifts. He's a pretty good defender, for a forward anyway, and he plays with another pretty good defender in Simmonds. He does a lot of the little things well, and he really seemed to gain confidence quickly. He's been a pleasant surprise.

If Handzus and Frolov are really on your third line, your team probably has the best third line in the NHL right now.

On the other hand, whatever happened to Kopi? It looked like this is gonna be his break out season in the beginning, but he's cooled off completely.

Yeah but hell even Harrold had a couple goals last year and Ivanans had two, Richardson a big fat zero.

Pretty sure we have, but it was not like last year where it seemed like they couldn't win when they wore them.

Smyth was out for a good chunk of time, but i'm sure you know that. Also, some of us have been speculating that he has an injury of some sort.
