How many Russian captains have there been in the NHL?

I'm having a hard time thinking of any.


Edit: Was Bure the captain in Florida when Mellanby left?

Correct. The Panthers coaching staff used a duel captaincy system between Pavel and defenseman Paul Laus alternating the 'C' after every other game.

I believe that Makarov and Fetislov were both Russian captains - in the Russian army, of course.
