I've always liked R2 from his Lightning days. Big, fast and plays mean (hits to hurt). Too bad he keeps the lid on when he fights. My wife and I met him in the hotel lobby in Prague for last year's European opener with TB. That guys was a big as a phone booth. He'd add some snarl to our 4th line. Don't know why we ever signed Brashear.

I've like what I seen of Sbisa in the this year's World U20.

We could definitely use SOB on the backline. Rick would Rip a few middle weights another... Don't know if I would want to give up Lisin though. He has decent upside. But Rypien only plays around 5-7 minutes-

Higgins and Lisin for SOB and Rick Rip? We do that deal 10 times out of 10.

Me too! Would love to see those two here in NY. IMO The Garden would fall in love with the two of them. They may not be the most talented, but for their niche...They get the job done. But more importantly I think both players could potentially be available w/out losing your shirt on the deal.

Rangers very interested in making a trade by Friday I was just told. Looking into it.
No whining about the source please... if you don't care then don't comment.
Stuff like this is always worth posting just to take note of, even if the chance of something happening is slim.

Eks Disclaimer after Friday passes: "I said Friday". "Doesn't mean this Friday".

One guy who it might make sense to go after is Radulov. Nashville is doing pretty well right now and might like some reinforcements for a playoff run. I'd be willing to wait for my return on this deal. Higgins and Girardi?

Has he shown any indication of wanting to return to the NHL? I can't imagine he has too high of an opinion regarding the Rangers considering we walked away from his best friends arbitration award.

OK here's one to kick around. Calgary may be thinking about moving Phaneuf. Would you trade Stall to Calgary for Dion? There would probably need to be some window dressing and salary matching (especially for the end of this year) but cosmetics aside do you make this deal? I would.
