I mean really? What is the reaction on this board if that happens?

Sounds like Bergeron may only miss a couple weeks.

Saw 2-6 wks somewhere. Will be interesting what they do with him. I assume they can wait to make a decision until right before the Olympics, right?

For some reason, everytime I briefly see the title, it almost looks like we traded for Patrice Bergeron and he got injured or something.

I heard 2-3 weeks, but it was a radio report in the background... maybe it said 2-6 weeks.

I believe they can wait on a decison, as Russia and another nation (forget who) claimed that they would amend their roster as they wished up until the Olympics start even though they have 'officially' announced their full roster.

Well the Russia announcement was fishy because it sounded like they were going to remove people if they weren't playing well...this would be a legit injury. What I'm curious about is if he's "healthy" but hasn't been playing in a while...are they allowed to replace him?

When are teams supposed to submit their final roster?

That's just it...those just announced are supposed to be "final" outside of certifiable injuries. Which is why the NHL/NHLPA had an issue with what the Russians were saying.

The Russians are just trying to flex their muscle. Culturally, they have one of the biggest collective inferiority complexes in history. It's a ****ing hockey tourney and they need to turn it into a dick measuring contest.

I'd say Gagne should go over him.

Damien Cox said the Boston Globe is reporting Bergeron will miss 2-3 weeks.

Don't think Bergeron should be playing in the Olympics as he will not be 100%, there are alot of players to choose a replacement for him, while I'm hoping it wouldn't be Gagne.
