And I guess you know for sure we would also be 9-0-0 with Price in the nets against those same teams?

You little sneaky snake! I thought you couldn't do two things at the same time?

Asides from moderate, that's actually exactly what I did. But I also ate five slices of bacon-double cheese pizza, three cans of coke and a bowl of ice cream.

... BEEFCAKE!

EDIT : All my wife does is yell at me and ask "Is HF more important then your wife?"... Good thing she went to bed early tonight... Another good thing she never checks these boards, ever. I'd be a dead man.

yah, because the Cats are a non playoff team, so it would make sense that Halak gets the start. But seriously he is 9-0 against non playoff teams - that's pretty impressive. But it would be nice for Price to get a start against some weaker competition from time to time

That being besides the point, I want to talk about Carey Price's body language after shots and goals against him.

Their were several instances where he made a routine save and got up and looked like he was mad or frustrated about being shot against.

On the 4th goal (Semin slapshot), he gave Spacek a stare down!

I know that we are being outshot all the time and that we are not playing well in our defensive zone, however, give me a break! Have a better attitude than that. I am a Price supporter and will always be, but this attitude and ego is getting to me.

Benoit Brunet even said: ''Les jouers l'aime pas les geste comme ca''
I could care less if the players don't like getting stared down. In Colorado, Roy intentionally (my opinion) let in an overtime goal in the playoffs after a Wolanin giveaway and proceeded to tell Crawford that there was no %$^%ing way that Wolanin was to see another shift in the playoffs. Guess who never played another shift? Now Price is only 22 and has a lot to prove, but my complaint about him not having fire in his belly has been more than taken care of. Good for Carey!

My point is that I don't feel Price is enjoying playing for this team.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Unless this team starts winning soon, and frequently, with Price in nets, I really don't see him signing with the Habs again. Im a Price supporter but it seems like he isnt enjoying his time here, on and off the ice.

I don't remember the last time Moen did anything worth mentionning in a game. Yeah he's a 3rd liner but I think it's time he gets out of hibernation.

I don't want BG fired but i wished if he plans on making personel movements he does it sooner than later. I wished we could get a big powerforward, who has some chien.

Cam and Plek didn't play well tonight I hope Kostitsyn will be back next game because without him they have no space on the ice.

Pouliot give much needed size on the Gomez line and I like his work in front of the net.

When Sergei come back it will be a huge upgrade over Pacs and D'Ags.

The Caps was due for a win and the Habs need to wake up vs the Panthers

one thing is for sure..no matter who is in nets..we cant beat the top ranked teams and that has to do with everyone in front of price and halak.

Also true. But then we signed all those d-men knowing what position they were playing before did we?

D'Ago played decently tonight.. especially in the last few minutes. His backcheck, again, was a potential game saver late in the 3rd.

His defensive game is much improved, lets give him a shot with a playmaker.

LOL Crowd starts the stupid "Eh! O Canada, Let's Go!" and USA scores to make it 4-3.

End that useless chant, PLEASE!

EDIT : Why did I post it here? Mods can move this to the right place if you please. Otherwise, I'll keep updating.

Halak is 2-6 with a 3.48 GAA average against playoff teams.

I'm not certain we would be 9-0 with Price against sub .500 teams, actually he's got a 5-5-2 record against sub .500 teams, but he does have a 2.84 GAA, so it just shows that he doesn't get the goal support.

Look, if Halak is lights out against weaker teams, put him in, god knows we need the wins. I really don't care what they do, but Price gives us a chance to win against tough teams, he's got a losing record, but his GAA is 2.41 - take out Vancouver and it's 2.18 - that's pretty damn good

Without Andrei Kostitsyn on that top line, we are too small, we get man handled coming into the offensive zone.

Damn Kristo creates the turnover that causes the 4-3 USA goal.

Damn, 5-3 now. Allen sucks.

I have to agree with you here. Moen scored some goals and got away from his game. We're not paying him to try to make plays or score goals, we're paying him to deliver hard checks and solid defensive play. Once our injured brothers return I hope we see something more like Sergei Metro Max and Lapierre Moen D'ags.

I really don't have to think while I moderate. So it's really not that impressive.

Oh man...I'm getting a stomach ache just reading what you ate.

I"m still in the honeymoon stage of my marriage, so my wife doesn't ***** at me yet. I'm sure that will change in the future, but I"m enjoying every minute of the peace and quiet until it ends.

Oh Crap....this is definitely not my night....4-3 USA

My point is that I don't feel Price is enjoying playing for this team.

I really hope Price as a very long and successful career with the Habs but I just get the feeling that he will leave the Habs the very first chance he gets..It wouldn't surprise me if sometime in the future he asks for a trade either before he becomes a UFA...

You can see the guy is frustrated as hell right now and he doesn't look like he is enjoying playing for the Habs right now...The pressure of playing in Montreal and having to deal with the media and fans constantly just might be too much for the kid...

Damn..US leads 5-3..Allen is brutal..
