Did Markstrom grow over the past year. If I remember correctly he was 6'3 (190cm) last season and this year the TSN announcers said he was 6'5(196cm)?

As I wrote in the GDT thread -
I think they took the opportunity to blow of some steam in this game, probably from last year. They where/are probably still a bit jetlagged too which probably made them even more cranky then they would like to admit.

Anyway, now when they're done with old business I expect too see some improvement in gameplay. Rundblad was just brutal the first two periods.

Rundblad been brutal for a long while now, he has no business being on this roster IMO.

Apparently MPS and Mårts has been sick. Thats probably why Mårts didn't coach the team yesterday and why MPS was used as an extra-forward.

He was 194 cm (6'4.5") last year, and is still listed as that.

Come on! Mr. Dreads, Renberg and Carl Gustafsson in the TV-studio at JWC.

Well ok, i see why you would wanna put Carl (played JWC last year) and Dreads (pretty good host) there but Renberg, he totally suck. Its actually amazing how much he sucks as an "expert".

"One hit, two hits, three hits!"
"Yada yada yada yada"
"It looks good. Sweden is playing good." - My grandmother told me that so tell me something i dont know!

I think the guys in the studio are alright. I like Fjäll, he's a good host. Renberg knows what he's talking about and I'm very pleasantly surprised about Calle G.

Yeah, Fjäll is a good host and Carl can come with some interesting input, but come on - Renberg? Sure, he knows what he's talking about, but what is he talking about? Not much. I guess I just want someone else between Dreads and Midget.

A little too "soft" studio for my taste. Nothing that draws my attention, might aswell watch something else between the periods.

Erik Karlsson is apparently a healthy scratch in Ottawa's game vs Buffalo. Wow, just wow...

and now with the WJC providing a ton of exposure for Anton Rodin. Can people who watched Sweden's games comment on the strengths/weaknesses in Rodin's game? How did he compare with Silfverberg? Does he project as an NHL player?

People seem to like his work ethic, and say he doesn't shy away from the high traffic areas. If he can get 34 goals and 77 points like Huselius in 06-07 then I'm ok with this.

Read what Andre thinks of the man,Markstrom. Lots of haters everywhere about Markstrom's game. Maybe jealous?

MPS, Markström and OEL are the top 3 players per Mårts & Co.
