Amazing post edge, I can't wait to see the players who peaked their rookie season dvd, I hope it has some malhotra, pock, smerk, and even some yermevev on it the bonus footage
I understand that the argument between the pro and anti Prucha people will never be settled. If you don't like the guy, think he's worthless, or will never return to the form he had his first 2 seasons, then you don't need to visit this thread. It's only going to cause arguments and when people have rehashed the argument over and over and over and over and over again, what's the point?
I use this thread because I am a fan of Petr Prucha. I in no way advocate bringing him back because I don't believe it's going to happen. I, like many other people, always like Pru and felt he got the short end of the stick. I will always remember his all out hustle and effort and how he gave everything he had on every shift. He's not the biggest guy on the ice, but he plays hard in all areas of the ice. Yes, that causes him to get laid out sometimes, and sometimes he didn't keep his head up in the neutral zone and got creamed by someone. Guess what, the guy got up and kept playing the same exact game. I admire that. I wish him nothing but the best in Phoenix or wherever else he plays.
If you don't like Petr, nobody is clicking this thread for you. If people want to talk about him because they like him and are happy that he has 9 goals in Phoenix (more than everyone but Gaborik by the way), then let them.
Also, will that DVD be available on Amazon? Or can we make installment payments? $150 is a bit steep....
Wait... Didn't they trade Prucha before Torts came in? Or was that right after?
It was right after.
But I'm not sure how much input Torts had, considering Prucha was traded so soon after he was hired. Sather was probably intending to trade Prucha and Dawes regardless, considering last year's RFA situation.
