Reebok jerseys......

Hey guys I got a couple of the Reebok vintage habs jerseys for christmas and they both have a little grey tag sewn into them on the bottom left, the ones with the size and ________ Player id etc etc. I really dont know if it's meant to be left on or not.

Thanks.

If you have a seam ripper they come off really easy. I've taken them off of 4 jerseys so far with no problem, after a few washes even the seam lines go away.

It's up to you if you want to leave them the size/id tag on the sweater. Some leave them on, others will remove it to give the sweater more of a clean look. If the sweater was an authentic, the size tag would read a numerical value (i.e. 50, 54, etc...).

That's cool I just wanted to make sure I wasn't wearing it on the "gay" side.

I personally would invest in a seam ripper ($1.50 at your local craft, sewing or drugstore), and take if off. But you don't have to, and most don't.

I dont even notice my sweaters have it, if the op didnt say, i would not have known what side it was on.

Do the sweaters the pros wear have it?

nope, but if you own a premier jersey (non edge) take a look at the bottom of the jersey, by your left pant/jean/loincloth pocket and you'll see what he is talking about

No i have seen it, i meant i dont notice it there at all when i wear it or since i bought it.

I buy the replicas i think, the 120$ ones, but i get the "pro" stitch job for another 80$.

I dont buy sweaters too often, Leafs dont change up that much, i think i have 4 since the 80's. Once and a while i will get a throw back or a Canada or a Russia or i will get a sweater ( usually something i dont even want to own) from the gf or somebody (i got a pens Crosby sweater last year from my aunt, gave it to the salvation army).
