UPDATE: Greene Back in Lineup / Drewiske Out 2 Weeks
Apparently, Greene has a bad back and he'll be out for a few games. I guess this means Martinez and Harrold will be in unless Jones comes off the I/R by tomorrow.
Wow, can we get any younger on defense?
The Kings might be short two defensemen tomorrow. Matt Greene had to leave the ice this morning, even before the first drill, due to a sore back that apparently has been bothering him for a couple days.
Alec Martinez was on the ice today, and almost certainly will play tomorrow. Terry Murray estimated that Davis Drewiske will be out approximately two weeks with his shoulder injury. More on all this, and more, soon…

This. Just thinking about Harrold on defense gives me goosebumps.
Kinda OT but are most of the Wings players who were injured returning tomorrow?

Uggh. Seeing Harrold makes me wish we had Modry to call up still.

IMO this is to the Kings advantage. It takes several games to get back into game shape (form).

Yeah, we don't need Harrold and Jones getting turned inside out by Datsyuk in the next game. Bring up Voynov for a test spin.

If Bagnall's back from injury, I wouldn't mind taking a look at him.

Purcell will probably go back in at forward and Harrold back to D.

Purcell is still the odd man out...
Brown-Kopitar-Smyth
Frolov-Handzus-Segal
Simmonds-Richards-Parse
Ivanans-Stoll-Moller
On D, Murray might put Doughty with Martinez, Harrold with Scuderi and O'Donnell with Johnson.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to let Purcell play a game against Det and sit Ivanans. Doubt it but it's worth a look imo.

We can definitely do it against Detroit. Even though I'm afraid Purcell is a lost cause.

It's good to hear that it's only 2 weeks for Drewiske.
Greene's a warrior. Get well soon!

Just think about this for a minute... We are down 3 Starting defensemen and have Petey Harold coming in and we still expect to beat the Red Things... this is one craaaazy time to be a Kings fan! WOW!
Oh and Modry would mop the floor with poor lil Peety.....
