Reacquire Prucha

Why not? The kid loved New York, and fans were disappointed to see him being traded away while guys like Rosival continued to "stink up the joint".

I would say Redden/Rosival + Lisin for Phoenix's first round pick in the 2010 draft and Prucha is a very fair deal.

Holy crap, that's a horrible offer. I would carry Prucha back to New York on my own shoulders if Slats pulled it off.

After the Gomez deal, who knows what Slather could pull off.

I don't think Phoenix would take $6 million dollars off the Rangers' shoulders, plus giving up a 1st round pick.

Rozsival stinking? Compared to Prucha?

Lets bring back Jed Ortmeyer because after all, player skill doesnt mean anything, its all about the effort.

Its thinking like that that is the reason this team has only one true goal scorer on it.

edit; and what the Hell would pheonix give us their first for? A guy they just dealt away to us? or the overpaid 2nd pairing dmen?

I love New York. I work hard. I should be on the rangers.

good god.

Rosifail is horrible. I'd much rather have a kid who scored 30 in his rookie season than a cancerous defenseman with a fatal contract who enjoys going into our own net and sitting down to allow the opposing team a goal.

Slats would throw in a couple of Cubans for the first rounder. This is my speculation, of course.

That rookie who cant keep his skates when a 175 lb player bumps into him. That rookie with the skill set of Enver Lisin, minus the speed.

And you are comparing him to our defensive leader since the lockout, who is having a mediocre season highlighted by the fact he gets payed UFA salary.
