Thanks guys. I'm glad it worked out too.

But trust me CanadaBacon, I still screwed up a lot this year. But each season I learn something new.

By the time I finally get it figured out both my kids will have outgrown hockey and I'll be 60 years old and playing by myself.

Like the idea...

Of taking the swings off the swingset and putting up netting. My son is just learning to lift the puck and just the other day my husband shot on in to the neighbors house. No damage, but when he went to retrieve it (after dark of course), it wasn't there. So the net thing sounds like a good idea to me.

Still not done my rink yet. I have a lot of ice but it's way to bumpy to skate on.

This year was really hard since I couldn't flood it (neighbors complain over anything) and I didn't have any plastic to use.

The rink is really small, mostly going to be used for stick handing since I suck at that.

ummm yeah some neighbors do in fact suck ..... a lot.

I had a guy who lived downhill from me seriously about a football field length away complain that my rink flooding was flooding his basement.

For one thing we live on a slope and had 2 days of rain which seeped downhill under the snow into his basement.

The other thing he just saw a guy out there with a hose watering a rink and figured it must be from me.

I told he was an idiot and to get off my poperty since he confronted me (yes he drove from around the block to my yard) rudely in the first place and did not like my explanation of where the water came from.

mainly my point was it was a FRICKIN FOOTBALL FIELD AWAY! Get a friggin clue dude.

I would have to of been using a bazillion dollar water pump system to do that.

Oh Lord why is it illegal to shoot at your neighbors .... why.
