just have to work on the rush to the net, every shot can't come from the boards

Good game.

Gomez really needs Gionta and Pouliot is filling in well with those guys.

Once we get Akost back, we'll have 2 scoring lines this year...

Edited title in a attempt to not turn this thread into Price vs Halak. Seems there was no stopping it though...

If we had to be divided into camps, I've been in Price's.

I love both goalies, but my theory has always been that Price should be the long term solution. I don't blame Halak for wanting a shot at number one, he's more than earned it. And if that meant moving him, even below value, then so be it.

That said... I think through no fault of Price's, this is now a 1a/1b situation. If Halak can wrestle the job away from him, he should be allowed to do so. And if he does, I'd seriously look at moving Price in the off season.

why must we argue about which goalie is better. Why can't we be happy to have 2 great young goalies because it's a luxury we won't have much longer.

If Price was in net, we would have lost 1-0 and the lone goal the result of a weird deflection off of one our D's.

Bad saying because it dosen't make sense..... Anyways i thought Halak looked shaky tonight every "Tough" shot he got (lol maybe 2-3) he always looked behind him cause he had no clue he stoped it.

I'm so tired of this ****...

When Price plays well = He's the best goalie, future franchise, look at his talent...

When Halak plays well = Price would have won it also, he's the luckiest goalie, the team played well in front of him...

Can people simply just congratulate him?

Only remember making 2 or 3 about the actual game. That's perhaps an unacceptable amount of OT for a GDT. ABC. 123. Baby you and me girl.

Pouliot: 8 games played, 4 goals, 0 helpers, 4 points, even +/-
Latendresse: 19 games, 7 goals, 2 helpers, 9 points, +3

Tender is playing 16:11/night.
Pouliot is playing 15:14/night (before tonight)

So far, it's about what I had figured it would be. A win for both teams.

No ranting here, bro. Halak was good. Price is still the better goalie, though. Halak still only plays sub-.500 teams. Sorry. Rock on.

Maybe this lucky aura helps the Habs get better puck luck up front resulting in more goal support.

This thread will turn into a Price vs Halak or Tender vs Pouliot.

I am going to turn this thread into a: " LARAQUE WAS AMAZING TONIGHT "

I am a pro Price and a pro Halak, but I was thinking the same thing. Pucks were coming from the point from Florida and they were missing, or deflecting away from the net. When Price is in net it hits a opposition player and then our player and sneaks under his glove or something.

If Halak has good luck, Price has the bad.

I don't want to give up on Price, he is still the better and younger goalie.

Halak has played well and has driven up his asking price in trade, although he has been playing the weaker sisters in the NHL.
