Ryan Clowe isnt a fighter.

Ryan Clowe (30 points) is a power forward who drops the gloves often.

Comparing him to Thornton (7 points), Neil (10 points), etc who only do one thing and that is fight is ridiculous.

This kid is cut from the same cloth as great players like Adam Deadmarsh.

I'm a big Clowe fan and he's three times the player Shawn Thornton is (as well as most of the names thrown out there in this thread). But as a fighter, he's not even in the same class as Shawn Thornton if you look at their resumes, so I'm not sure how they're comparable. Thornton is a middleweight that fights Heavies on a regular basis and holds his own, and Clowe is a decent fighter that fights when he needs to. Just a quick look at the numbers...Thornton has 30 fights in the last season and a half, while Clowe has 12...Apples and oranges.

I'm also wondering what Lucic is defined as? He's roughly the same size as Clowe and he's not a goon (ie, has skill), and he's a significantly better fighter than Clowe, albeit not as skilled.

I think Lucic and Clowe are in the same class, top 6 forwards who will drop the gloves and protect their teammates. Lucic is probably the better fighter but Clowe has the edge skillwise, Just my opinion.

Totally agree on all points. Clowe is definitely the more skilled, Lucic is definitely the better fighter.

Dude, it's pretty common knowledge that one tends to lose their balance when they're knocked unconcious.
