Would like to send a big FU out to the Lightning for not moving their game back so I can watch all of the Eagles game tonight. I guess beating their butts all the time is really starting to bother them.

3 in a row boys.

In fairness, the Eagles have done just as much as the Flyers have done and only get more recognition because football is the #1 sport in America. I agree that they are sometimes overhyped and over talked about (cough...610...cough) but at least in this game it is the Cowboys which is a great rivalry regardless. I don't watch too much pro football except come playoff time, and an Eagles Cowboys playoff match is great football no matter what team you are rooting for. And in this matchup it seems that all the "experts" have decided that the Eagles are already packing their bags and going home for the off-season, which makes this an even more interesting game to me.

Why watch the Eagles? Looking for new ways to blow timeouts, mismanage the clock and pass twice as much as you run?

GO FLYERS!!!

Don't break the chain(goalie that is), just yet. The boys are getting their heads and confidence back. Let um feel good for a few before the change. Then a loss won't be so bad. Not saying that Emery will be bad(I'm as excited as everybody for him to be back), but the chemistry will change and adjustment will be needed.

Just at thought.

Faboo!

In all fairness, watching the O-line and McCoy last week would drive a man to want to pass, and then after watching McNabb for a few snaps would drive a man to want to run the ball. Nothing the Eagles did offensively worked, and all the 3 and outs left the defense on the field the whole game. The result is that we put up a big 0 and lost the game.

If the offense can get something going, we might have a chance, haha. Otherwise, I will watch ALL of the Flyers game before finishing with the Eagles.

Anyways, Let's keep the wins going tonight. Should be able to put this team away if we play a full 60 minutes.

They've both had deep playoffs runs and great regular season success over the last 10 years. But you didn't say over the last 10 years. And the Flyers have actually won something of importance. The Eagles have never won anything of note ever... in the history of ever.

The Eagles won the NFL Championship in 1960, just before the Superbowl was created.

if fantasy football and spreads were magically eliminated overnight the NFL would lose a significant chunk of its ratings.

Umm... yeah, so? Gambling drives virtually every sport whether people admit it or not. I'm looking at you NCAA...

Niittymaki is playing for Tampa Bay tonight.

Also, Jeff Halpern returns to their lineup.

interesting business move, CSN, to broadcast your lowest-rated game of the season in HD. or have they been doing this for all games? i haven't been in philly for a game all season.

the philly bar in chicago doesn't get center ice, so it looks like phone updates all the way. thrilling.

set the tone early with physical punishing hockey. take it to them right away and never let up. of course a few goals would be nice.

They've been doing it for every game, for a couple years now.

Yeah, I'm hoping the Eagles win, but I'm not really a football fan.

My real problem is trying to watch both the Flyers and the Phantoms.

if we got meszaros + lecavalier for coburn + hartnell/giroux i would do it

dont get me wrong, i LOVE giroux, but realistically they wouldnt take the trade for coburn+harntell, they would want coburn +giroux

i mean, if we really want to be a cup contender we need to take a chance on a real star player like lecavalier
