Where did he fight?
I saw him get punched and then lay on top of someone.

Jagr always had some snarl in his game. Especially when we brought in Avery and he was on Jagr's line.

Jagr would be right in there post-whistle to back up Sean.

Its pretty sad that such a great player is playing in a second rate league. I wish he would have stayed in the NHL. He is a lot of fun to watch. Cant wait till the Olympics.

those goalies should be pushing the team bus for the next month. both of them just standing there giving high fives while the rest of the team is sluggin away...horrendous.

good to see jags is going back to the quaff mullet.

if jagr would sign for 3-3.5 for 2 years id bring him back for supplemental offense next year. his presence alone is significant

snarl? snarl? i dont ever remember Jagr playing with snarl. Skill, fearlessness, never taking a dive...those kinds of things i would use to describe Jagrs game...but snarl? really?

I think many teams did a good job of shutting him down the last season here. Might be different with a player like Gaborik also commanding respect, but then again, Jagr is going to be like 39 next season.

Anyway, him and Sather parted ways. There's no such thing as make up anymore in my opinion. What's done is done

two things.....

1) who was the moron from the red team that goes to the penalty box making the gestures with his hand like firing a pistol and then putting them into his hip holsters at the 1:12 mark in the video?

2) what a pathetic league to play in......how many people are in that arena.....1500?

Just how the KHL survives economically is difficult to figure out. With a $22 million (U.S.) salary cap per team, and some star players making big money, one wonders how a league with mostly junior-sized hockey rinks can pay the bills. SKA St. Petersburg, where Medvedev also serves as president and owner, led the KHL in average attendance in September at 9,675, about 85 percent capacity of the rink.

According to the KHL, its average attendance per game for 92 September games was 5,570. The worst NHL attendance average last season was on Long Island at 13,773.

Many CHL teams outdraw the KHL...just some food for thought

Also, one more thing, I was at the Rangers-Thrashers game the other night, and I bet you there werent more than 8,000 people there, if that. The ENTIRE upper section had maybe 400 people in it...everyone moved down, and still there were seats galore to be had. But, to be fair, it was snowing and Atlanta doesnt deal well with snow, basically the city shuts down...but from what I understand....from what my friends who are regular STH tell me, that was about on par for a thursday night game.

Jagr was/is one of the most under appreciated NYR's in history. The guy was a horse in the playoffs.

yea, i just dont understand how the leauge can survice economically, based on what they are paying some of their "super stars ". I am sure that the russian govt has a hand in keeping the league afloat in some shape or form.

I miss Jagr so much. Has there been any updates on what his plans for next season are?

Jags back for a one year stint would be an idea, but it isnt happening.

Players do age and go downhill. 71 points his final season here isnt exactly superstar production. We'll see how he does in the olympics.

We have a close up of Jagr fighting Verot in this video. Also, in the last part of the brawl, I'm pretty much certain he jumps again in the mix after coming out from the box but can't find him in that mess.

1) Supposedly Brandon Sudgen according some sources.

2) I'm wondering how many KHL games you have ever watched in your life. You can't claim that only seeing this scrap, Vitiaz has a very bad reputation, this team is a disgrace for the sport and for the league. That's an exception. Vitiaz is just a bunch of goons, including our dear friend Chris Simon, who ironically didn't make it in time to the rink yesterday to take part to the party.
