The organization now sits at 23 healthy forwards between Milwaukee and Nashville combined...

Unbelievable......Not that I will miss Guite, but sheesh.....the sheer amount of players going down to injury is stunning. Thankfully, our better players are relatively healthy.

Looks like some signings will have to be made to deal with this many injuries. Any forwards out there with no contract?

They've called up Sproat with the Scatchard injury. Pierce is probably next in line.

This isn't a big injury as far as value to the team, but it's big in terms of sheer numbers. We're now to the point where we have to consider recalling Gabriel Bourque if we have another injury.

I think Taylor Beck would get the call first on an emergency recall basis. He was solid in camp and has had a great season thus far back in juniors...

Can juniors get an emergency call and then return? I hadn't realized that.

Yes, Braydon Schenn was recalled under emergency conditions for the Kings earlier this season and played at Vancouver, then returned to junior.

Also, way back when, Hartford recalled their 1st round pick from the previous summer J-S Giguere from the Halifax Mooseheads after Sean Burke broke his thumb to backup Jason Muzzatti. Giguere sat three games as backup before getting his start in a wild Hartford-Boston game that saw him allow four first period goals before getting pulled at the intermission, then the Whalers coming all the way back only to see Marek Malik hit Glen Murray with a beautiful outlet pass in his own end and skate right by Murray and Steve Heinze as they went in 2 on 0 on Muzzatti and scored the game-winning goal. It was right after Christmas...I got tickets from a family friend as a gift and won't forget that anytime soon... Giguere went back to juniors, was traded the summer Hartford moved to Carolina, then bounced around the Calgary, before finding success in Anaheim under Allaire's guidance...

Way off-topic...but the answer is - yes, players can be recalled from juniors under emergency conditions...

Great story. Can the recall be to the ahl- I assume not- or does it have to be to the nhl? I assume it isn't subject to the 10 game rule?

Geez, is there anyone coming back from injury in the next few days? Can we recall Radulov? I would like to see the Preds recall Bourque. He has been a mad man in juniors. Back might also be an interesting choice too.

Tristan Grant is apparently hoping to return to the Ads lineup on Wednesday night bringing us to 24 healthy forwards in the organization. Arnott to be re-evaluated Wednesday, but no determination has been made yet there. No one else close to returning that I know of...

We just learned that Triston will NOT play today against Chicago as he had originally hoped. Unless something changes between now and game time, Milwaukee will go with 11 forwards and 7 defensemen.

Anyone have any news on VanGuilder? I heard he did not play from the middle of the first period yesterday?

He done suffered one of them "Lower Body Injuries". We haven't received an update on him - so I guess he's day-to-day.

I talked with Sixsmith last night and he had not been contacted by Milwaukee. In fact, he was already on his way to California to join the Utah Grizzlies on their road trip.

The Admirals are going to sign Oren Eizenman to a PTO in time to play this weekend.

utmfisher is relatively healthy and producing points on a poor lower C team - he could really shine with a couple of good linemates.

Next is Sixsmith, then Kevin Ulanski, and Fenton has Libor Pivko on speed dial.
