Seems that our numbers are increasing!

Seems to be a good amount of refugees from the Hawks official board! Sad that place went so down hill!

I haven't posted at the official board in years. I was one of the main posters at Blackhawkzone when Frank Porcelli ran the place, even writing some game reports, and still post at Stuy's 300-Level (I'm not leaving the 300-Level, but just adding another board for me to post at).

Haven't been posting much this season as I haven't had much time to watch the games. Sad to say I've only been able to catch 5-10 hawks games this season, but soon school will be done and playoffs will start

I'll be back in action in no time

True dat. I haven't posted much on the official board this season, but when I have, it's been pretty crazy. I, too, have been lurking on this board for a while, so I decided to jump in and register.

Hi Hawk fans... as an Ottawa resident, and a dissapointed Sens fan this year, I just want to say that you should all be very excited for your team. Toews (arguably my favourite player in the league) is the next Stevie Yzerman, Kane is an unbelievable talent, and Campbell is exciting from the back end. Add in Keith, Seabrook, Versteeg and the other unheralded role players, and you've got a team that looks great for the next 5 years...

Can't wait to see Toews in a Team Canada jersey in 2010...

Rooting for the Hawks this year in the playoffs...

Hey thanks! And, what a coincidence, as the Sens are my 2nd favorite hockey team!

I've got a soft spot for the Sens.... growing up in the Ottawa valley and absolutely despising the Leafs (especially) and Habs fans around here because of their fans.

Guilty as charged. Been lurking for years. Forced to watch games online so ill be joining in more often now hopefully.

As for my intro. Im a chicago suburb transplant living in Idaho. When i talk about playing hockey or watching it people look at me like im speaking a foriegn language. Hockey couldn't be less popular anywhere i think. Really glad to hear the hawks are nearing deals with the young guys. Ive been getting sick of these "TKK" threads.

Definitely guilty as charged, due to time and other constraints, can be varied, most times I just have time to quickly peruse, but I've been trying to get the post count up lately. And if TKK signs to reasonable deals, then it will be oh so fun to go on the main boards...

I think more people should be repping the Hawks avatars I made for everyone, I take requests and will put anything you want in the Hawks logo, as well as put whatever saying underneath. Show we are a unified bunch!
Hi ReLyT - I'll take you up on your generous offer. I would like a picture of Hjalmarsson in a home sweater - a front shot with his number 4 visible if possible. The saying I would like underneath is "HjammerTime".

I've never done this before, so I could also use a little guidance on how to get the avatar from you and insert it into my profile.

I was wondering where all of the CHI fans were. The relatively low numbers on this board now make sense. Hopefully this practically worthless post of mine helps in that regard.

I think the Hawks are one of the most interesting teams in the league right now for good and not so good reasons. I'm hoping those good people wander back here and save me the work of visiting multiple sites.

I've been reading this board for quite awhile! I much rather be commenting on this site than on the official site. IMO. This site has got good posters. Oh well, group hug.

Hey there. 'Hawk fan in Iowa here. Don't expect much expertise coming from me, I only know one other hockey fan around here (a blues fan from stl I know from college). Long time Hawk fan but not much of a hockey expert. I've always enjoyed (eh) watching the 'Hawks but now there's finally something to talk about!
