Have we quietly darkened our jerseys?

I havent seen or heard anything anywhere, but our home jerseys look darker to me the last few games.

Sometimes they darken due to sweat, but right when the games start they stil look darker than then used to. No more safety cone orange.

I like it alot, but wondering if anybody else has noticed it or heard anything.

I have seen throughout the use of the jerseys that sometimes they look dark and sometimes they look bright. I like the darker ones. Maybe I'm crazy and they don't really look like that though.

Don't look any different to me...you sure it isn't just a TV to TV thing?

They are safety cone orange, but when you look at them from a distance, they just look dark and not safety-coney.

This quote is from a few months ago, whether it applies to your inquiry I am not sure:

Quote:
“There’s always a debate as to what is Flyer orange,” said team president Peter Luukko about the brightness of the colors. “The effect of the various inks on the material [factor in]. There’s a science to this stuff.”

How the hell did you remember that throw away quote?

However, maybe that does mean they're screwing around with the color a bit.

It was part of the Winter Classic discussion as to which jersey the Flyers would wear.

IDK if the Flyers darkened their jerseys, but Sammy Sosa lightened his skin.

Maybe the amount of darkening the Flyers did is proportional to the lightening Sammy Sosa is doing.

They tend to look different on the TV depending on the building they're in, lighting/cameras, etc. But in person, they are still day glow orange.

Eh, but that falls into the different arena (lighting), possibly different cameras, etc.

I can't man. I just can't. Somethings you've gotta learn on your own.
