Subtract Alffie, Michalek, and Spezza, and you get...

one of the worst forward line sets I have ever seen, and that includes last years New York Islanders.

LOL. I can see we **** the bed in typical Rangers fashion against a depleted team, but it shouldn't be allowed to happen though.

We better take this one... in regulation.

Yeah, a loss here would be pretty pathetic.
I would be annoyed even with an OT/SO win.

Wow, a pretty weak forward lineup on paper, and yet Cheechoo doesn't even make the top-6. Hard to believe that he stole the Rocket Richard from Jagr just four years ago...

Ottawa doesn't have a first line... and they lost 5 games in a row.. not even close losses, they lost by a huge margin all 5 games...

Better not blow this one like they blew the thrashers game

Ottawa only scored 1 goal VS Pavelec.. one of the most worthless goalies in the league.. This should be hank's 3rd shutout this season... after stopping 45 shots against a team with great offense

Hopefully we play like we did last night and don't give them their first win like we usually do with teams in a slump.

That Rocket Richard trophy is probably sitting in Joe Thornton's cabinet.

No Alfie, Spezza and Michalek ... gotta win. Cant afford to drop points here (or a point).
Rangers 3 Ottawa 0

Wow that forward lineup is awful. But that means Kovalev will have a hattrick against us and there will be goals scored off of multiple deflections, likely involving Ranger players.

Gotta' have this one.

After such a good game last night, they can't afford to look stale against this shadow of an Ottawa team.

Ottawa fired their goaltending coach this afternoon, so that means we'll probably get shut out.

So which one of the ottawa sieves is going to be in the net?

3.07 GAA .890 sv or 2.91 GAA .893 sv?

They aint fixing their crappy goaltending overnight

Leclaire's been a crappy goalie his whole career.. His one good season, somehow he managed 9 shutouts in 52 starts but still had a record of 24-17-6 and a GAA of 2.25.. How inconsistent do you have to be to post stats like that?

If hank had 9 shutouts in 52 starts his GAA would probably be under 2...

Well, if we can get 45 shots off on their crappy goaltending like we did against the devils, I'd say it'll be 8-0 with hank's 3rd shutout

So many of the people here were whining about Hank giving up softies when his SV% was hovering around .920. I wonder how much *****ing would take place here if our goalie had a SV% of .890... the forum would implode

All the years following this team...

How solid we played on Tuesday....

Getting points this entire month...

All those things = this game terrifies me.

The New York Rangers...ughhhhhh.

Let's go blue.

I'm a little worried about this game since the Sens have the second comming of Bobby Orr (Karlsson) on their second pair. We can all pencil him in for at least 2 points.

Time to beat up on a hurting team.

Carry even a bit of last game's effort and it will be a blowout. Ottawa's goaltending isn't that good, pile the shots on and go the net.

Haven't read the posts here, but I hope CJ is between the pipes.

GO RANGERS!!!
