no thanks, but we'll take 3 1st round picks for the next 2 years after you're done paying off the bruins

Value of Gagner

In my opinion Gagner will out score Cogs throughout his career; however I'd keep Cogs as an Oiler Fan...

He brings more to the overall game then Gagner... Faster, better shot, better defensively, stronger on the puck and always gives it 100%.

and if we had a shot I'd take Seguin over all hall as need a true #1 center...

What would Gagner get us for return?

Are you crazy to give that much up for one of them.

trade or sold? depends on who you ask, if you ask the guy who traded him, he'll say he sold him

Gleason is exactly what we need, tough two way dman... young and good contract

Perhaps get a draft pick or if you can Ruutu back...

We are overvaluing Gagner, he is good but not a #1 center good...

I doubt Car will send us:

Gleason, Cullen, Ruutu

For

Gagner, O'Sully, Gilbert...

This post definitely needs to go in the HF hall of fame for all time classic posts....

Oh my God...

Close this thread immediately. Bruins and Habs fans are agreeing on things way too much lately.

I also agree this is HF HOF material.

2 wins (with two games in hand) and the Oilers pass the Leafs. All they have to do is win the 2 extra games in hand they have overthe Leafs and then match the record of the Leafs the rest of the way. For every Oiler fan who is a realist, there are 2 Leafs fans gearing up for their playoff push.

Edmonton is trying to sell now and acquire assets, Burke is in 'wait and see' mode.

So...

1. Montreal is in the market for a small speedy centre to compliment the two they already have.
2. Toronto is in the market for a small speedy centre with no truculence and/or belligerence - definitely a Burke type of guy.

Makes sense.

Funny people like you are trying to cut Cogliano some slack because he played with Moreau....but Ethan Moreau is an upgrade over Horcoff & Jacques,,,,I don't think O'Sullivan has underperformed given what he's had to work with for most of this season...

Ya it sucks when our 20 year old isn't a number 1 center... I say we keep both Gags and Cogs unless someone is willing to overpay. There is no need to trade them unless it makes us a better team in the future.

But be careful, there some here who consider Cogliano as one of the worst NHL players in the league right now.
I thought that was Andrew Peters?
