What would be your team? So each All star-team must have at least one player of every conference's team
EAST :
Brodeur
Fleury
Miller
Green
Gonchar
Chara
Myers
Pronger
Colin White
Stajan
St Louis
Crosby
Fisher
Gaborik
Tavares
Ovechkin
Plekanec
Horton
Whitney
Kovalchuk
Bergeron
WEST
Luongo
Bryzgalov
Anderson
E. Johnson
Boyle
Zidlicky
Doughty
Robidas
Keith
Getzlaf
Iginla
Kane
Nash
Datsyuk
Penner
Erat
H. Sedin
Thornton
Marleau
Heatley
Perry

Weird picks for Toronto. Kaberle deserves it more than White. And if Kaberle is there, no need to pick Stajan too. Backstrom or Stamkos should be there instead.

my bad it's Colin WHite, who's the best dman of the Devils right now
I pick him because the defense squad would have been composed of too much offensive d-men.

It's the all-star game, it's suppose to be an offensive game.
At least your replace White with Kaberle and Stajan with Parise.

I'd take 13 games of Markov over half a season of Kaberle or White. Or both.

Have you looked up Fleury's stats recently?
Lundqvist would be a much better pick IMO.

There's a few minor changes I'd make, but you hit the nail on the head. Maybe I'd take out Horton or Stajan and include Parise and Backstrom/Semin

My changes above. It was pretty hard to leave off guys like Gonchar, Iginla and Stamkos for less deserving players.
EDIT: I forgot Gionta

Yeah, but 13 games doesn't deserve an All Star nod.

I bet he'd be there even with only 13 games.

Well of course you could, we all could, but you wrote that it's "kinda hard to pick players in NY Islanders, Edmonton, Toronto or even Phoenix" and I'm just throwing out four names of guys who weren't hard to pick at all.
