Look up the word inept, there you will find a picture of the 09-10 Rangers.

January / February of 2009 was bad. Looks like we're getting a Part Deux.

Dilemma for me tonight:

How to watch the game you love when the team you root for is so unwatchable.

Have had this dilemma frequently for oh...37 or so years now..

So I guess I'll have that wtf look on my face from 7-9:30pm...again.

And a headache on the way to work after that.

Anybody watch the Hawks/Wings game today?? Wow.. That was some great hockey. Especially the overtime and SO.

Great game.

Datsyuk and Bertuzzi's shootout goals were pretty, especially Datser's;

Wow creativity in the shoot out, don't see that as a Rangers fan. I would do some pretty terrible things to get Datsyuk on this team.

I was so embarrassed by the last few games that I am not watching this game out of protest.

The whole game (Wings/Hawks) was good, the OT was great and the shootout was also good. What a great game for national broadcast….. Except it was up against the Cowboys Vikings so beside the few of us here and a couple of the players mothers….. no one saw it……

I can see AA being a spectacular shootout scorer….. Gabby needs a new move from the slow change-up in the five hole……

I think it was one of the NY writers who wrote that if Rozi and Gomez both are touching the puck we would not know who was being booed at MSG…..

Honestly I have no idea what to expect from this game.

This could be that obligatory "OMFG they looked like contenders for one night" game that lets us all know, despite how doomed this team is long-term, that we're never going to have a shot at Taylor Hall.

Though more likely they lose 3-1, followed by a meaningless patchwork trade made on Monday to shake things up.

AA and Drury needs to "go" before Dubi and Cally, IMO.

Yeah... Gabs ain't good in shootouts. He pulls off the same move everytime. It's too predictable.
He should try to go wide instead and use his booming wrister, like Elias did on Hank.

As Louie De Palma explained, A Schlameel is a guy who goes through life spilling soup (Our Illustrious GM for Life) . A Schlamozzel is the guy he spills it on." That would be us.
