People forget he got 71 points, 30 goals in an "off" year. Can't wait to get him back, I think he will tear it up once he's back.
Nice to see someone else agrees with me. Spezza will be totally refreshed and excited to be back. He knows alot of people have questioned him and he knows that he's gonna have to step up.

Funny you say that, in the second year of my Sens BAGM I've added Umberger to the top line and rotate Alfie/Kovalev alongside Spezza, and Spezza is the lowest scoring of the three of them. I don't know what I gotta do to get him going haha.

NHL10 is weird like that. Malkin, Crosby and Ovechkin in any mode I play in are never in top 5 for scoring. That is unless I have them on my team and I run up scores. If I don't take control and just sim through the season, they also suck and some 2nd line player leads the league in scoring.

Spezza needs at least two 90's on his wings to produce...

^ lol seriously though...we all know what he means, the most random players lead the league in NHL10, they should fix that.
but back on topic, he had an awful year before getting injured, im hoping hes gotten the physical as well as mental rest to get his game back to where it needs to be. the injury was potentially a good thing because it gives him another fresh start to the season, and he needed that the way things were going earlier for him.
When Spezza comes back you put him and Michalek on a line with someone else, like Cheechoo, which has worked in the past. You don't have to break up the other 2 offensive lines, and then you got Ruutu-Kelly-Neil as a fourth line. Probably the best 4th line int he NHL.
That's what I was thinking. What if they're comeback impacts Ottawa for the worst.
Unlikely though I think..
I say (and many others have aswell) throw Michalek-Spezza-Cheechoo on a line. That way we really don't screw with the chemistry the other lines have developed and at the very least Michalek and Spezza will be putting up points. Hell they might just get Cheechoo a on a roll (he is known for his slow starts, strong finishes).
