Thats awesome. Tons of Czechs on Yotes with Prucha, Michalek, Hanzal, Vrbata, Lang (if he sticks around). Should be a fun time.

Let's see...two games in Prague plus 5 games in Saskatoon...

And I thought driving to GLENDALE to see them play at home was an inconvenience.

Ya know I've notcied throughout my life on how people do not realize how bad they are making themselves look. They say stuff they think is acceptable but it just isnt. Somewhat offensive but their totally serious. I'm not talking about cursing either. People who give their opinions on things that they clearly shouldnt. Its the worst when they give their steriotypical racial comments. I just ignore it.

Ditto

Here's a great chance for the Coyotes to gain international exposure so we can gain new fans and this self-proclaimed Coyotes Fan is taking a dump on this opportunity.
Plus we don't know if there will be any neutral regular season games since the League has to approve it. If that's the case its better than having the team relocated.

Not to mention having overseas games helps when this team may never play in the Winter Classic.

I'm a season ticket holder. I want the Coyotes to play all of their home games at home. Not Prague. Not Saskatoon. Not Hamilton. Glendale.

Must be tough being you, having such problems in life when someone voices an opinion different than yours. That's one thin skin you've got there, pal.

The 5 Saskatoon games are far from finalized at this point and I would highly doubt that the NHL would allow both the European games and a full 5 game Saskatoon schedule to occur.

Let them have all the Home Pre-seasons games in Saskatoon. The 2000 of us that normally go to pre season wont really care and the team will make a shat load of money because in Saskatoon a game is a game.. Have each one vs a different Canadian team.,....

it's not as simple. other teams are already tapping these cities for exhibition games. Saskatoon had 2-3 last year alone against Canadian teams. Edmonton, Calgary are not happy about potentially losing the Saskatoon market for that revenue.

Of the 2 games in Prague, only 1 would be consdiered a home game. The Yotes would be the visitors in the other one.

What are the odds of the team or league putting together a package for this?

Ticket prices in 2008 for this event were between $128 USD to the VIP price of $838 USD.

I think it's a great opportunity for the Yotes to play in Europe but as a STH I do hate seeing a home game taken away from Glendale. Hopefully the NHL would only allow 4 in Saskatoon considering this.

Also interesting... Did / Does the city of Glendale have to give this their blessing since the Coyotes are contractually obligated to play all home games in Glendale?
