Oooooops! Yes, that's who I meant, Nashville, LOL! That's what happens when you flip through several games in one night and don't pay much attention to any of them!

I hope Nash doesn't end up on a 1 on 1 against OKT, or he'll end up on the plays of the week again

Maybe if Nash embarrasses him badly enough his knee will disintegrate out of shame

More like "Plays of the Year" - Special TSN edition for the end of the season.

Looking at this 6 game homestand, I can honestly say this is an ideal situation.

With the exception of Pittsburgh who is having trouble on their own, 5 out of those 6 games are extremely winnable. And that would definitely put us in a playoff spot. Todays game and the game against Carolina are MUST wins. Islanders, Thrashers, and Rangers are tossups, but all those games can be had. Pittsburgh is the only one that if we lose any of these games, I would put money on that one to lose.

10 points vaults us to a 7th or 6th seed which I would kill for right now.

Sorry but it wont end up anywhere. There is nothing special about beating OKT, just business as usual.

Tell ESPN that. They gave Bozak #3 on Top Plays of the Week.

This is a very special game for OKT, I'm sure he's thrilled about playing against his old teammates for so many years.

Tollefsen vs Boll...holy hell, fighting a good friend, actually I hope it doesn't happen. On the other hand he didn't treat Chimera very well in the Caps game, Chimera was traded from CBJ a few weeks ago. I guess friendship is gone, now they're opponents.

Well Wolfy, from all accounts I have heard, Crosby and Richards are actually good friends in real life, but come gametime, they are VERY chippy with one another, and sometimes quite rough.

Millions of dollars and the spirit of competition change friendship dynamics a bit. I mean, ever play a pickup game of basketball or football or soccer and just elbow or hit one of your closest friends trying to make a play? Bragging rights or whatever.

Plus, fights in hockey are more strategic then personal (mostly). 2 guys who are a teams "enforcers" are expected to throw down after a big hit or if someone is getting to chippy with one team's superstar.

OKT won't fight Boll. Boll is a heavyweight, OKT is not.

Yeah I guess it depends on the situation, if things are heating up there isn't much friendship left. I'm sure some Jacket will jump OKT if he tries to level Nash..

Out of all the players in the NHL, Wolfy likes TKO and TKO only.

That’s just unhealthy.

1. They are 8-15-4 on the road and just played yesterday.

2. If you can't beat the 09/10 Blue Jackets at home you do not deserve to be in the play-offs!

Plain and simple.

Based on your second statement, I had to look up who Columbus has defeated on the road out of curiosity: Vancouver, Phoenix, Anaheim, Washington, Atlanta, Dallas, Edmonton and Calgary.

Plain and simple, the Canucks, Coyotes, Capitals and Flames do not deserve to be in the playoffs!

It's like watching the sport of hockey solely because of Jim Dowd.

Did they beat all 8 of them in back-2-back games? Therefore it was the 2nd statement. But I saw the emoticon at the end of your post, no biggie .

Edit: They really have beaten the Thrashers and Flames in b2b-games with the second games as a road game. Now these 2 probably won't be in the play-offs :-))).

No excuse at all not to win this game. None. It is a broken record but the top guys need to start playing like they are top guys. The D needs to step up and just make pretend Leighton is in goal. They need at least 10 points minimum in the next 6 games.

Except Jim Dowd had more skill, and an exponentially more awesome porn stache then OKT could ever have. How dare you compare Jimmy Dowd to him. For shame.

well if OKT fought Boll, we wouldnt have to worry about OKT for awhile. Boll would bust his face up pretty good.

Some of those were back to backs I think. Or maybe a 1 day break in between. I don't remember. They are streaky tho. They won a decent amount of road games early, then they lost 15 straight road games. Then they won two in a row. But it's also harder to win on the road in the West then in the East. Columbus never wins in Nashville (last win was like 4 years ago), never wins in St. Louis, never wins in Detroit, and sometimes wins in Chicago. So that really kills their road record. They also rarely win in Northwest Canada, and have won maybe once in San Jose in 10 years. So really the Jackets have like 5 teams where they can win on the road in the West. So most of our road victories depend on beating Eastern Conference teams.
