He got us a point ? I guess I wasn't watching the same game as you ...

1 weak goal in the first period.

Played well in the 2nd and 3rd period (nothing spectacular, just playing well).

and 1 weak goal in OT...

So, ok game for him tonight... but far from giving us a point tonight by himself.

This is a very mediocre team.

I thought Price should have had that last one.

Conklin made the save on Markov, McDonald beat Price...and that is the game.

Once again the bottom 6 = EPIC FAIL
No, I felt our play in the 3rd made us work to get that point, and I'm satisfied at our comeback, even if we fell short, we know that giving up is not an option.

I want to see Gomez's haters tonight, I really do. Where are you? Come on out!

Exactly, minus 5 in his last two not including tonight equals bad hockey.

The team does not play 60 minutes enough. If they did, they might win more often.

Price is still better than 99% of the goalies aged 18-23. The much vaunted "Monster" hasn't been better or anything but you don't see him being thrown under a bus (probably cause he's not a top 5 pick). Unless Price whiffs at age 27, I will not bash him like some feel the need to do here. Even Luongo has issues. Last year against Chicago for example, plus has he won a Vezina? A goalie's success is very dependent on the team he plays with. Price has disappointed his teammates and the fans a lot less than the teammates have disappointed him and the fans.

I'm a Price defender actually but let's face it, Conklin was a beast in the third. It took perfect goals to beat him. While Price let in four weak goals. No excuses.

#2 was a softie, #4 is questionnable, but Price made a couple of clutch saves tonight and was one of the few players deserving a win tonight.

k let me get this straight.. with horrible defence, lazy forechecking, turnover after turnover, then coming back, playing strong, our goaltender gives us a chance to come back. We come back, get an extra point, bring it to overtime, then a perfect shot to end the game and all some people can comment on is that price sucks?? Honestly ****** go watch another sport..a non-team sport, like golf or tennis , stupid stupid fans....

I usually defend Price but he was weak on that 4th goal.

That said, we didnt deserve to win this game either. We almost stole it but didnt.

AHLer on 2nd line, 2 D on 4th line. Cant win games with that line up.

I think people like to pin losses on the goalie, simply because they can throw the blame all on one person. This happens after every single loss we have and its getting stupid.

An okay game by Price, certainly wasn't to blame for the loss. He kept the Habs in the game in the 3rd and it was a perfect shot in OT that ended the game. Sometimes teams just lose it isn't always someones fault.

LOL, the shot was a laser top corner and people are blaming the goalie. Only in MTL.

I've seen enough of Martin's system to judge it. It sucks.

If it was Cammalleri who roofed it high blocker side for the win, would the fans say that it was a softie let in by Conklin or that it was a great laser shot by Cammalleri?

That's what I'm seeing. There's no need for him to be on his knees with a lone guy attacking two defenders and taking a shot from 30 fts away. The shot may have been perfect but even perfect shot don't get through when a goalie is perfectly positioned. All in all, a young goalie's error IMO. Overall, he had an OK game.
