Had that shot come from the stick of Ovechkin, no one would have questioned it, but because it's MacDonald people are undermining the quality of the shot.

A weak goal off a 30 footer is the one that Halak let in against the Rangers(the last goal). When you get beat top corner where there is literally no room left for a puck to enter the net aside from a little opening, that is called a perfect shot.

Man I'm lovin' Pouliot. He's a player. If he can really keep up this level of player he'll be the Habs best player by far. No one else on this team can come close, not with his size, reach & release. His first goal the puck was in the net before the goalie even knew he had it!

What a shot!!!

Did I say it's Price's fault anywhere in my post? Please don't put words in my mouth, all I said is he didn't steal us a point, but he played his part in shutting it down in the 3rd while we poured it on.

Pouliot is awesome, his shot always looks like it's going in, if he potted that one chance in OT I think the building would have exploded.
Nice Avatar. Now We duel.

I guess we should be happy getting a point out of this game but this team need to get 2 points when they play at home...This team can't afford to lose points when every point is so important in the tight East standings..

Haha...I'm afraid to ask.

A little disappointing that our boys decided to turn up their play late in the game. If we would have started like this, we'd be looking at a much more positive outcome.

Shot was was perfect but also stoppable. Blame should really go to the D-men. That was a copy paste of the Ottawa goal. I cannot fathom how anyone can have the time and opportunity to pick a corner like that off a rush. These cats should be getting pressured instead of being allowed to work on a perfect release.

Because those that says Price didn't play stellar are Halak fanboys? That is so childish.

All the goals were scored by the top 6.
It's a shame because we have a good top 6 when AK is healthy and it's much easier to build a good bottom 6 but ours sucks.

Go find a post in this thread where I blame Price.

Go on, do it.

If you do, I'll never post on the Habs board again.

What a shot!!!
It has been a great trade, and he looks like he loves playing in Montreal, a lot more passion on the ice out there than I saw fro Lat's. Not taking anything away from Lat's as he is doing awesome in Minny, but you never saw that passion from him.

He had time because Markov was in deep on the pinch that he should have scored on.

He can fight and score, every hockey fans dream.

If only we could have drafted Lucic instead of Maxwell, would have been an awesome winger with Pouliot. Ah well, he's broken anyways lol.

So blaming Price for a weak goal automatically makes you a Price hater??

Come on the kid is very talented and young but he lets weak goals, like most G in the league, tonight he let 2 softies. It doesn't make him a bad goalie and it doesn't make me a Price hater.

Where was his team in the first period?? Ask yourself that question. You people name a scapegoat every game, how about blaming the team for once. Im guessing you never played sports did you. You win as a team you lose as a team. And believe me montreal loses as a team as any competent person can see.
