Rangers Prospect Poll: #16

On the hells of a solid performance for Team USA in the WJC, Ryan Bourque won spot #15. Of the top 15 prospects, 4 were Left Wings, showing how strong we are there. There will be at least one more, maybe two more, LWs in the top 20.

The vote for the prospect to be added to the poll was also very close:
(Based on the HF guidelines of who's a prospect: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/whatmakesaprospect)

Gaulton: 9
Dupont: 2
D. Maggio: 1
Owens: 1
Klassen: 1
Williams: 1

Don't forget to vote who should be added this round and mention why you are voting for the guy you are voting for.

2. C Artem Anisimov
3. LW Evgeny Grachev
4. C Derek Stepan

David Kveton because he's near-NHL ready and has potential to be a top-9 forward. Add D. Maggio who's having an excellent season in juniors.

What happened to Kundratek? There were quite a few people that were high on him before the season started. No there seems to be no love for the guy.

Kundratek hasn't had the best year, so he fell down. He will still likely be in the top 20, but not yet, not 16-17, more like 19-20.

After Kveton, my vote will be for Horak and then Byers. That's the top 18. At 19-20, he will have his proper spot until he improves or collapses.

He hasn't been bad by any means but he hasn't shown much progress either.

Byers, add Dupont

IMO its really hard to tell if a player is NHL ready in the czech leagues. Plus Kveton hasnt had as good a season this year.

Ive got Byers, add Maggio

Kveton. After struggling a bit early, he really turned it on.

Add Daniel Maggio.

Dupont is a big body with limited offense. I'll take the upside of a guy like Maggio any day. JMO.

Leaving NA, doesn't come to prospect camps, training camps, signs contracts in Europe.

Until I actually see some quotes where he says he wants to play in the NHL or for the Rangers then i'm going to assume he is in not hurry to ever get here.

So you like guys who will never see the NHL? Kveton shouldn't even be considered a prospect. I look foward to him as much as Psurny and Bahensky.
