I think it's the Admirals not wanting injuries out more than Kyle not wanting to give out the info.
actually pred33,i think it has more to do with him having no staff...tough to juggle all those things when you're calling a game by yourself..the thing i'm talking about isn't intra game injury updates,it's the updates of existing injuries pregame....not like this stuff is top secret
3-2 MIL 13:16 3rd Smith (11) from Gamache(29) and Tootoo(2)
gamache evidently makes a great pass, gamache now with 46 points in 33 games...only 6 pts behind the league leader(jason spezza with 52) who has played 5 more games than the ads, this kid could actually lead the ahl in scoring
2:22 to go,hutchinson takes a penalty...they pull the goalie 6 on 4
:45 seconds to go,finley has made a ton of saves on this pk,timeout CHI
Milwaukee - Simon Gamache (powerplay) (Wyatt Smith, Darren Haydar) 2:32
Chicago - Brad Larsen (Cory Larose, Steve Maltais) 14:32
Milwaukee - Tony Hrkac (powerplay) (Dan Hamhuis, Andrew Hutchinson) 15:13
Chicago - Cory Larose (powerplay) (Travis Roche, Lonny Bohonos) 18:44
Milwaukee - Wyatt Smith (Simon Gamache, Jordin Tootoo) 13:16
Pivko is out "3-4" weeks. He had his knee in a brace, and was in some serious serious pain. Fiddler was in what looked like "his jammies" and was only there after the game, and Claude was concerned that he not give "it to the others."
Claude was VERY strenuous in his comments regarding the officials in this game, and about the style of game that was played. He was angry that twice his guys went down hurt, and both times his guys got the penalties. He was "incensed" almost about the 5 on 3 when Moskvesky and Hammer got called and I quote, "for what?"
On Tootoo's scrum at the end, he was hammering at four of the five Wolves on the ice, it was rather funny to watch.
Not to defend the Ref, but this one had to be, what I would say, the worst officiated game I've ever seen in all my years of hockey watching. And I don't just mean the Ref. The linesmen were horrid. The Wolves repeatedly had most of the ice to use because "offsides" wasn't being called regularly. The only thing I have to ask is why the Ads didn't capitalize more often on this consistent inconsistancy. It was horrid.
However, Claude commented that he was pleased that despite everything that has happened to his team, they are still in first place after tonight's win. That they were still able to find ways to win games.
On some of the other injuries, I can't comment on Klein or Upshall, since I've not spoken with either, but Shish may be back inside of a week. Hope you guys remembered to wish Shish a Merry Christmas during camera night if you were there tonight: he's Orthodox, and this is Christmas Eve for him.
i find it disturbing that the three guys on the Admiral roster that before the season started would have been the most likely to have been invited to the preds training camp...shishkanov,upshall,and now pivko are all currently injured...maybe dissappointing is the better choice of words
