McLeod would be great. I wish we could develop our own. Potted 15 goals last year.

I think he is the perfect player that we need a bit like another moen but even more crazy and with a little bit more talent it is difficult to develop and I see none of our prospect be in that mold.

Remember listening to Jean Beliveau (Get Well Gros Bill) talk about how important a guy like John Ferguson was to the Habs.

Agree though that they need to be players who can skate and play the game.

Let's get a big skilled guy, if we can live as long as we did with Laraque only fighting 4 times this season, there obviously isn't a need for one on the team.
Well thats the problem, we are not ''living'', we're hitting the bottom part of a 30 gallon tank... Not saying Laraque was the problem, just that it might not hurt to try a real enforcer.

I would love a Neil or a Carcillo but I don't think we should get a "goon".

Could have a good duo with McLoed and Moen on the same line

I would like to see Ivanans back in a Habs jersey. Remember when he took on Chara? Didn't he lose a tooth in that one?

Doesn't matter if we need one, since coach Martin thinks we don't. Read some articles where he says the Wings won a cup without one, etc, etc...

I'd go for Jared Boll.

He's nothing more than a 4th line forward, but he's everything Greg Stewart should've been.

We need a guy that can fight, play hockey and skate. Better yet, we need the whole team to stick up for each other.

Heavyweight fighters are completely useless. Every player should feel responsable for the defense of teammates and not have to rely on some big guy warming the bench.

The "sucker punch" which he admittedly did throw, didn't land...the punch that ****ed up Ivanans jaw was while they were still standing...and despite being shown numerous times directly after the play, a certain group of fans in particular still like to pretend he landed a cheapie.

Dude, give your head a shake...

On the replay you see the teeth flying out from the shot where Ivanans is on his knees with the ref holding him back.

Last good fighter we had who could actually play a shift and not hurt the team, Darren Langdon.

This team doesn't need super heavyweights, they end up negating any advantage. Neilson would be perfect.

Carcillo Bullies The Rangers
http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=728057

http://www.csnphilly.com/pages/landi...126&feedID=704

Dan Carcillo could not believe that Marian Gaborik, one of the NHL’s most skilled players, would drop his gloves and throw down with him.

“I don’t know who was on that line that could help him, but yeah, it was weird. I wasn’t expecting him to drop his gloves and when he did, I was pretty licking my chops,” he said.

Carcillo destroyed Gaborik, whose only previous fight was against Ian Laperriere.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It took over six minutes before any Ranger did something.

“Yeah, I mean, anytime you fight their best player you’re going to have guys come after you and that’s the nature of the game and, you know, [Sean] Avery did his thing, and that was it, that was it.”
