Agreed. Someone who was a complete nutcase on the ice (not off) would be good, although I can't think of anyone in the league who makes others shake in their skates with the drop of his gloves. We also need to look into finding someone who can win a few fights, while also being able to play the game. Someone who has no knowledge of the "code"

So BGL with no code would have been every other team's worst nightmare?? It just makes me more mad to think of what we could have had and what we actually got.

what are you saying?

If Gaborik dropped his gloves on BGL, that BGL would help him put them back on?Pat him on the back and say CODE?

We just need to draft a kid with bad discipline antics that is mentally unstable and feed him of anger as he develops so when he steps in the NHL he just goes mental on the ice.

Maybe the organisation can secretly tie him with a metal chain after each game and feed him smashed potatoes and raw steak so that he stays in his lunatic mode before each game.

Sure. But it's better old than nothing. It was only 2 years ago that he went bat**** insane during a game in Tampa. We need that fire.

maybe someday i get the wish.always was intrested in him and would love to give him a try on the habs
One big man who can skate like the wind.Ducks and him aint working out it seems, benching him etc for his play i guess.

change of scenery ART come back up to Canada.

Yes Artyukhin could be a solution, but i prefer Clowe who can bring a lot more offensively.

if i had my way we'd add Artyukhin plus some other rugged players with some scoring touch for the bottom end lines..

Art on our third line perfect. 6'5 254 comes at ya and he can near keep up to Gionta im bettin .Guy got wheeels

only problem i got with Clowe is how do we fit in his contact???never happen

Art makes what 1 million?

Boyton scrap

6'5 254lber

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xI7em...eature=related

id like to see him on a line with Cammer and Plek or some of our big guns for a few games i mean this guy would open space and he got enough skill to keep up unlike us trying to play Begin or TKO up there.(or Darche)

at very least he is 3rd line material .

we cant take Clowe he;s making to much , or do i think san jose would deal him.

i dont know WHY Bob didnt tell the ducks to keep the 4th(for Chips) and take ART!

our team is base on "speed" and they went to little guys to get it ,but 6.5 254 lber is as fast as anyone of our small guys no question,so i dont know why they wouldnt go add that into our line up .

Laraque 255 =slow
ART 255 =fast id bet probally 2nd-3rd fastest guy on our team,so that fits with our MO.

i dont want to turn art into the "goon",just let him play his game, id think its a huge huge upgrade even if he shows in only 3/4 of the games to play .

then go add another tougher 3rd/4th line guy who can drop the glove(if needed) and put a few pucks in the net.

these guys now on line 3/4 skating up and down no goal in 30 games bring NOTHING unless there scoring ...THERES THE PROBLEM.

atleast give us a guy who if he isnt scoring can hurt and put people thru the board some nights.

id really like the the addition of Evgeny Artyukhin.
i read actually he was outselling Vinny in jersey sales at one point in Tampa..now i dunno what that means but i know we'd like him in MONTREAL , the same way we loooked past Begin and TKO faults and they became FAN FAVORITES

Artyukhin he is playing 4 to 7 minutes a game in Duckland, was recently benched for 4 games but i mean how bad can the guy be playing? he is making 1 milllion not 5 .This is time to go get him ,right now .

9 pts in 33 games playing low minutes and a even +/-

vs

the guys we are given 12-15 minutes a night and havent scored in 30 games just out there skating up and down and -13 etc i wonder if the Ducks would bench these guys?

just like BP gave the Gomez line a different loook (BEACAUSE HE IS USING HIS SIZE)

I SAY ADD BIG Artyukhin, this isnt like putting Laraque on line 2.

try Artyukhin on line 2 with Plek and Cam....and some will say what? ya well i say DARCHE? come on man seriously no offense but how can you play him on your top lines?

HOW THE $@#$# ARE WE TRYING TO PLAY DEFENSEMEN(6'5 obyrne on forward??? heloooo helllloo ya your loooking for more size upfront?

stick a 6'5 255 lber Artyukhin who can outskate/hit 21 guys on your team on the wing.

as i said , if the guy only shows up 3/4 of the games its worth it to us , we need size in the worst way , and he got it.

and to top it all off , he will take care of situatons when he needs to (ie fought Chara when Chara jumped him and Chara was the first one to go down....NOPE we need more Latendressse types who get rag doll'd vs Chara right? come on please Bob ) this is what we need, and we need another guy "warrior type"

this would give us Moen , Artyukhin and another warrior , it would add some jam to the plain bread we have right now .We wouldnt have a "enforcer" but we'd have guys would /could enforce .

Artyukhin hits clean he really hurts people(ask Tanguay's shoulder last year )

and like a 6'5 255lb claude lemieux(hurt ya dirty too ,get supended at times)

Where does it say super heavyweight in my post?

Did you ever see John Ferguson play? I remember his 29 goal season, he had a great wrist shot.

Can Neilson play 10 minutes or so per game and at least not be a defensive liability?

The point was you need some toughness in the lineup, hockey has an intimidation element.

Preferably not 4 minute a night players though because they can end up being a liability.
