Don't take a penalty and there won't be a PP in the first 3 minutes.

In a blowout the Flyers are losing, opposite to common perception they have not shown a tendency to "goon it up."

Nothing will happen. The Flyers proved to everyone once already in the last meeting that when they cut the shenanigans and just play the game they can win. It's when they start running around trying to prove how tough they are is where they get in trouble. Just do what you did the last game, only better.

the game as you said is on nbc and they will call a lot of penalties. so that is a slim they wotn have a pp early. reagrdless if they take a penalty it is what the refs will call.

There will be a few fights no doubt in my mind. i wouldnt say the flyers will be losing in a blowout. both teasm have the capability to blow eachother out.

There will be a penalty called in the first minute, either way, and another 5 more in the first period.

It's an NBC game, so they'll want to slow the hockey action down and turn it into a half-court snorefest.

I might just tape it and watch football. At least it's meant to be boring.

I have a feeling that some day we will find out about some serious bs going on in the NHL. Something like the Tim Donaghy situation or worse.

Pipe break is being repaired on 11th St, south of Pattison Ave. Right lane is closed. Please allow extra time if you are attending the game. 4 minutes ago from web

I'd love to see that, but I'm still waiting for Emery to get fully initiated into orange and black.

I want to see a better sixty minute effort than they put forth yesterday.

They need to go to the net, and make Fleury work. Test his glove and whack away at anything that looks loose in the crease. Whack away until you hear a whistle.

Work hard and make the Pens have to hook and hold.

It's a bit of a risk, but the only way he gets the rust off is by playing.

I'm gonna stumble into 7/11 to get some gatorade and tastykakes, got quite the hangover to beat. The only bad part of the University of Pittsburgh is that it's in Pittsburgh.

Whatever, **** the Pens.

I'm glad Emery is starting again, he can rest for a few days after this. Go Flyers!

Edit: Carcillo is wearing a wireless mike for today's game!

Because it's an NBC start does that mean it's really going to start at 12:45 at the earliest?

Amazing as usual MSE!

This is a huge benchmark game. It's way too early to say "must win", but it will show how Laviolette's system stacks up against the Pens.

It sucks that the Flyers played yesterday and the Pens didn't, but there's nothing you can do about it. Other than win in spite of it all.

LET'S GO FLYERS!!
