My vote goes to Gags this year.

Gagne will lead the team in goals I think...but he's a finisher, not a setup guy. The high point getters (if you can use that term in Hitch's system) go to the guys who can rack up assists. In that case, it'll go to JR.

I say Gagne or Roenick.
Roenick says he feels 10 times better than he did last year but he also talks alot of you know what too. I think Gagne is going to have a huge year and I also think that he can be a setup guy. I'm hoping for him to score 35+ goals and have 35-40 assist, so your looking anywhere from 70-80 points....that will be a high point total to beat.

I'd say Gagne. I hope he stays healthy the entire season.

If he stays healthy, Gagné for sure. If not, I'd go with one of the vets (LeClair, Roenick, Recchi)

Wow, from the looks of it we are really confident with our Gags pick. Hopefuklly he is aware of this and has a career season. The pressure is on. This is the year with no excuses, ah man i'll never forget that break away goal he scored on Brodeur several years ago in the Conference finals......when we went up 3-1 in the series. He's gotta show everyone why he was chosen as an Olympian to represent Canada. This is your year Simon, let's get it done.

Agreed, he's lighter and moving better again. Also he won't be stuck playing with the Tommy Kallio's & Joe Sacco's of the world this year.

How about Justin, if he stays healthy all year, could'nt it be his breakout year?

Break out year? Yes. Lead the team in scoring? No.
Personally, I think Gagne will lead the team in goals, but someone like Tony Amonte or Jeremy Roenick will lead in total points.

I hope not. That form made him too cocky, injuried and invisible when it mattered most.

... and it was his fault that he nearly had his knee blown out with 3 weeks to go in the season ...

I voted for Gagne but I think it could Amonte just as easily. We know most of the Flyers vets slump in the post season get pumped up for the regular season have a great start hit a huge slump start to pick it up again before the playoffs then slump again in the playoffs. That is what scares me about Recchi. He did his part in the playoffs and then some so I think this will be the beginning of his downfall even though I wish the best for him. Justin Williams is gonna shine this year but his success also depends on how well Gagne does. If Gagne isn't scoring again he will revert to passing more and Williams might score 30+ goals if he has Gagne and Handzus setting him up the whole season. If Gagne does score im hoping Williams manages 20/40 and get above 60 points this season.
