Kotalik and Brash are expected to play tonight

Quote:
Donald Brashear is all but certain to return to the lineup following five consecutive healthy scratches. Ales Kotalik, also scratched for five straight, is likely to be reinstated.

You think Montreal was embarassing? Wait until this one gets underway. I can't wait to go tonight. I am probably the only person with season tickets to this debauchery that is starting to enjoy the losing more than the winning. I guess you have to if you want to be a ranger fan.

You can either face the guy with the broken finger, or the borderline nhl'er. sounds like a recipe for a shutout either way.

Nice one GAG. I went looking for historical records but couldn't find them quickly.

It is still six straight losses against the Pens, but I didn't realize 5 of the last 6 were played in Pittsburgh.

Great.

Cindy, National Television, Versus.

All stars aligning for a massive defeat of epic proportions.

5-1 Pens. 3 goals off Rangers in front and Crosby with 2 of them.

Rangers finally score a goal in the first minute of the game, but then 5 unanswered from the Pens after a missed 5 on 3 opportunity by the Rangers.

This ones gonna be a riot!!!!

Not having Lisin in the lineup isn't much of a problem. Having Kotalik in the lineup, unfortunately, is.

So...how many horrendous, mind-numbingly awful turnovers by Kotacrap will we see today?

I'm gonna go with 3.

If they play hard/well looking like they actually want to compete: 4-2 Pens

If they play one of those games where they look uninterested: 6-1 Pens

First post here for me

Typical rangers to win this one, or atleast play a close game. A bad streak followed by a big win against a top opponent.

2-1, 3-2?

Welcome! Clearly you're a longtime Rangers fan, since you have our MO down pat.

I'll say 2-1 Rangers.

Kotalik and Brash? Damn. Should be Voros and Lisin, they both play hard and have been better than Kotalik and Brash.

I am going to guess Higgins and Lisin will be out. Rangers lose this 4-1(Gaborik with the lone goal on a partial breakaway), Brashear wins his first fight of the season.

Loffen, you should do what they did over at the Pittsburgh GDT and have the stats of each player of their name.

5-0 pens

the downward spiral can't be spelled by the odds against NYR not scoring in 3 straight
