Your Mock Top-50 Prospects 2010

Just since this season has turned out to be oriented towards the future, that we're hoping and wishing to get another 1st round pick (however high or low it is), and since there seem to be a high number of prospects graduating, I'm just wondering how you would rearrange the HF's top-50 after the 2010 draft...

Quote:
Current top-50 prospects per HF
[1] John Tavares
[2] Victor Hedman

[3] Nikita Filatov
[4] Zach Bogosian
[5] Cody Hodgson
[6] Alex Pietrangelo
[7] Matt Duchene
[8] Derick Brassard

[9] Semyon Varlamov *
[10] Claude Giroux
[11] T.J. Oshie
[12] Tuukka Rask

[13] Lars Eller
[14] Thomas Hickey
[15] James vanRiemsdyk
[16] Karl Alzner

[17] Oliver Ekman-Larsson
[18] Jacob Markstrom
[19] Colin Wilson
[20] Mikael Backlund
[21] Tyler Myers
[22] Jonathan Bernier
[23] Cory Schneider
[24] Ondrej Pavelec
[25] Evgeny Grachev
[26] Brayden Schenn
[27] Kevin Shattenkirk
[28] Evander Kane
[29] Erik Karlsson

[30] Joe Colborne
[31] Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson
[32] Oscar Moller
[33] Artem Anisimov

[34] Eric Tangradi
[35] Jared Cowen
[36] Luca Sbisa *
[37] Jhonas Enroth
[38] John Carlson
[39] Ryan McDonagh
[40] Jakub Kindl
[41] Zach Boychuk
[42] Nazem Kadri
[43] Max Pacioretty
[44] Dmitry Kulikov
[45] Alex Goligoski

[46] Viktor Tikhonov
[47] Jordan Eberle
[48] Ivan Vishnevskiy
[49] Mattias Tedenby
[50] Jamie Benn

Prospects in gray are certain or almost to be above the number of games by which they are considered rookies, they should be removed from the lists you post.

* means they are more likely to be a few games short but always could, I guess those ones are your call...

Feel free to add some other players as you see fit, such as Niederreiter or others on the rise as well as pushing off or down prospects who may be struggling...

EDIT: Hmm, not sure if the "prospect info" belongs there in the title, since there's more likely speculation than info (?), anyways, Mods edit as you see fit...

Wonder how far up the list Eberle will jump and wonder how far down the list Backlund will fall.

If the Oilers get a top 3 pick this year we could wind up with 3 players in the top 10.

1.Taylor Hall (Oilers)
2. Tyler Seguin
3. Cam Fowler
4. Alex Pietrangelo
5. Jordan Eberle (Oilers)
6. Nikita Filatov
7. John Carlson
8. Magnus Svensson-Paajarvai (Oilers)
9. Oliver Ekman-Larsson
10. Cody Hodgson

Just my opinion. I don't really care for goaltending prospects because imo the jump from juniors to the NHL is much larger. So if your wondering why Schnieder, Bernier, Markstrom, Varlamov aren't in the top its nothing personal.

You have Jacob Markström twice (11th and 18th) for starters.

I just hope we get a top 3 pick

from there i hope we can get at least 2 more 1st round picks

I hope with one of those picks we draft Campbell (the goalie from the US). We definitely need a top end goalie, and this kid has it written all over him. He will definitely take awhile before he cracks the NHL so it will give the Oil some time to develop him, I really hope the Oil don't pass on him if they do get another 1st round pick around the middle of the draft and he's available.

even though we got Roy, JDD, DD, lets be honest, we're losing 1 of JDD and DD, Roy may never make it, and Khabi will be gone in a few years, so I really hope we consider Campbell if we can get another mid 1st round pick

damnit, get another 1st round pick already, haha

i want to see some action! lol
