Question about prospects signing in ahl

This season Jeff Hamilton signed with Hartford as a ufa,but the Isles still retained his nhl rights.

If the lockout goes into next season and teams can't sign their draft picks can those unsigned draftees sign with ahl teams as ufas, with their nhl teams keeping their nhl rights?
